A newbie game should be one the introduces them to basic roles, this just confused them more.
Newbies below a certain level, such as the weaker three players here, can't learn while playing, no matter how newbie-friendly the game is. Firstly they need to read a few of the wikis if they haven't already. Then they need a tutorial, or at least Q&A, thread.

Yeah, apart from getting the wrong players, Bevab didn't do a bad job of the actual modding.
