I know west indian tracks are helping spinners but when opposition is thrashing spinners, then seamers can take wickets and control the boundaries.

Perhaps its my evil side but I cannot wait to see what Dale Steyn and Morkel do to the Afghans.

Good thing about SA batting 1st is the large total they will post will ensure a longer game. I reckon if Afghanistan had batted first the entire match would have been 20 overs long :laugh

Decent bowling effort by the spinners and Hassan. Opening pace bowlers were probably a bit unlucky too, with Smith getting some edges and a bit of luck.

EDIT: Afghans looked like a proper cricket team in the field. Bowling and fielding were International standard, lets see if they can keep it up in the batting department. They speak English quite well also, even better than some of the Pakistanis

Yep Steyn pace is killing them, they can't even get bat to ball and when they do its straight to Boucher.

So Morne Morkel is apparently bowling quicker than Nannes was today. Nannes was bearly touching 140km/h, Morkel was easily past that with his first ball.
