Group C (Afghanistan, India, South Africa) - 12th Match Afghanistan v SA

I don't think Yuvi was out of touch in this IPl ,just that he didn't make any substantial score. Otherwise, he was connecting well. Now that he is under Dhoni, we should see a different Yuvi. :yes

Play Yuvi against Afghan. Maybe they might turn out to be an opposition that brings Yuvi back into roaring touch. Yuvi in good touch is deadly for our team in T20's. I would play Rohit ahead of Karthik. He has been in good touch in IPL, he is a better fielder, and his off spin was well groomed by Gilchrist in the IPL.

Go Afghans and win this match!!!

Watch out for...
Suresh Raina is coming off a successful IPL, where he was Man of the Final, and gave Sachin Tendulkar a fight for the Man-of-the-Tournament award. Will he be able to carry that promise into a big tournament, after having flattered to deceive often?

Mohammad Nabi, an offspinning allrounder, was the leading wicket-taker at the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers, with 13 wickets at 10.53 to ease Afghanistan's way. He scored 58 on his ODI debut and 102 in his first first-class game, and although he doesn't have a body of work behind him in Twenty20s, he has a strike-rate of 134.24 for his 98 runs.

Team news
Twenty20 is not where you experiment, not even against Afghanistan. They might not have had a warm-up match, but don't expect Indian to experiment too much, for this is an important game.

Afghanistan: (possible) 1 Karim Sadiq, 2 Noor Ali, 3 Mohammad Shahzad (wk), 4 Nowroz Mangal (capt), 5 Hamid Hassan, 6 Mirwais Ashraf, 7 Mohammad Nabi, 8 Samiullah Shenwari, 9 Asghar Stanikzai, 10 Shapoor Zadran, 11 Raees Ahmadzai.

I am 100% sure that India would go with Yusuf instead of Jadeja.Dhoni has loads of confidence in him.I Hope he repays his faith.

And good to see Rohit SHarma in the team.He is too good a talent not to play for india!

9:30am game for a T20. YUCK!! Sad that the ICC wants to satisfy the Indian TV audience where the major pie of the revenue comes from (for the Indian audience, it starts at 7pm and fits perfectly).

All india matches including the super eight will start at that time!

Go Afghans and win this match!!!

Best of luck to you two.

It's good for me. I will be able to watch the full match.:banana2

I think Yuvi should play and should come at no.4 to get his form back.

Maybe I am asking for too much, but I hope for atleast 2 India games at good timings for US/WI viewers (starting at 1pm or 5pm).
