Happy Dussehra

Happy Dussehra to everybody. Fun time, lots of special events here in our place, great food. Last night, mom had a special event at home and about 60-70 people filled up our house (mom prepared great food)

As Kshithiz said, it is a sign of Diwali to come (which is my fav festival too, even though I dont burst crackers here)

The atmosphere must have been so joyful

Happy Dusshera everyone. Who here put up a Kolu and everything over navarathri? One of my favorite traditions. I hate taking it down!

We have had people come to our house all week in Navaratri celebrations. Its far too short...

We did the 'kolu' (dont know what they call it in Hindi - the steps with all the dolls). Mom did a 5-step kolu as she always does. Looked great! We had a devotional program at our house on 15th evening for Navratri and then the foood!!
