Love the style mate, same as your MA one, simple but very effective. Like the way that the black part of the background blends in with the brushed part. One thing I would say is to try and blend the render in more, whether that means smudging or earsing with little opacity around the render and then duplicating the original render, than reducing the top layers opacity.
