Your Cricket Have You played a match in an International Stadium

A lot of grounds like Skilled Stadium have hosted tour matches in the now distant past.

Also, there are a few one-off ODI grounds in Australia from the World Cups.
Berri Oval
Devonport Oval
Eastern Oval, Ballarat
Harrup Park, Mackay
Lavington Sports Club, Albury
North Tas CA Ground, Launceston
Tas CA Ground, Hobart

As it turns out, I have had a half-time kick at Lavington, a friend's brother was playing. Brought the lols too, knocked out a team mate in a collision. To make matters worse, it was the coach's son!

And the match: England vs Zimbabwe, World Cup 92

Zimbabwe 134 (46.1)
Botham 3/23
Illingworth 3/33

England 125 (49.1)
Brandes 4/21
Omarshah 2/17

Ive been on headingley ground 4 times. twice to help coach and run a kwik cricket game, once to umpire in the kwik cricket regional finals and once during a yorkshire training session. hopefully i will play a real match on there one day.

The best I've played on is a ground sometimes used by the 2nd XI of its local county. I'm only 13, mind you.

Played at Old trafford, Headingly and Taunton.

Rugby at - Hull Fc, Hull kr and Cardiff arms stadium next to millenium (FC-Kc stadium, KR-Craven Park)

Cricket was good i dint play at old trafford just a muck around on the pitch cause we was on tour .

Man, all you lucky people. I drove by the Qaddafi stadium once, that's the closest I've ever been to an international stadium for any reason.

You should drive to Toronto for that Quadrangular T20 :p

Then you can finally say I watched a real international cricket match at a ground :p

I have played on the practice pitch at Manor Park. I took 2 wickets.

I'll be playing up in Clontarf, home of the irish cricket team this season. But you can't really call that a stadium

EDIT: I played a sciath no scoil (Gaelic Football primary school competition) final at P?irc U? Rinn (We won:p) and mucked around at quite a few football stadiums.

I played at the Mardyke, that's hosted quite a few touring sides down the years.

I ran at the Mardyke athletics track as well, which hosts the cork city sports. And was the venue when when Yuriy Sedykh and Sergey Litvinov broke the world record in the hammer throw six times in one evening in 1984.

If thats the pitch next door to the Millenium, then i've played there in a Final for rugby!

Cricket ground-wise, our u-15's (might have been 16's actually) played at Lords in a final of the T20 competition, we were right royally kicked though.

I've had a bowl on the outfield at Old Trafford, and trained there to! (The indoor nets a decent in Manchester also) Other than that i've not played/bench warmed anywhere else but Blackpool's Stanley Park in a final against the St. Helens acadamy.
