Hedger, just a quick question. How do you decide on raitngs for players? Is it based on personal opinion or on the player's averages? I just made an Aussie save for ICC09 and I don't know if my ratings are too generous or not enough.

I have found the ratings in ICC are already based pretty much purly on FC average.
I think his ratings are based on personal opinion, but are a lot more realistic than actual ones.

ICC ratings aren't purely on FC average. I also think it is related to how the developers rate some players, but sometimes their views on a particular players don't match public views and so we get this discrepancy.

Only a few players, eg. Jonathan Trott are based on personal opinion. Most players are based on FC averages and a little bit tampered with. I'm basing mine on personal opinion, FC, OD, ODI and Test averages and how often they play international cricket now. I ask other people for their opinion so that I can edit the players. This is mostly for the players I don't know much about.

btw, I don't think Dhoni needs any more improvement.
