firstly i wanna know that can we take pictures from a movie in pc.if yes please tell me how to do that...cause i have a movies from which i want some pics/stills..but when i press print screen and paste it a black clank page comes can anyone tell me how to take a still from the movie.

I think u mean .dat (vcd)files by movies.U can take stills using the free version of VCD Cutter from Jiao System, Ltd.If u buy it then u can extract sound files separately from it as well as movie clips.
XingMPEG Player is another option.
