Day 1 has come to a sucessful end for the Heros XI as the trod of the pitch with their heads held high especially the two men in the middle Crouch and Chapman who are in top form smashing about boundaries to get the Heros XI in this position.
There havent been many problems for the batsman in the middle besides a late LBW appeal which was a bit of a scare for Crouch but it was not out well outside off stump
Here are the scores and stats of Da1 one of this 4-Day match up...
We had a word with the Heros XI capitan and well he and all his team mates seem pretty confident about Day 2 they say that they have got themselves into such a good position that they can just poke the ball around and get a huge total if they already dont have one...
Here is a small inteveiw with R.Crouch...
'Well i feel weve adapted really well in this situation and shown our true potential especially with the bat now me and Chapman just need to see it throug to the Lunch Break or maybe Tea Break because we have to declare some time today'
Heros XI have totally collapsed in a few minutes of play on Day 2 since Crouch went to a ball which turned in then the wicket keeper batsman made a 50 which ended soon when he was most unluckly out after the ball hit him on the pad and rolled onto the stumps.
But the suprising thing is how quickly it happened to be accurate 40 mins after the Days play started which is not what they intended but it happened luck definatly not on their side!!!
The Heros XI have kept the bowling extremly tight in the first session of the day.
None of the bowlers gave the batsman any leway to score many runs its mostly just been defensive shots. They also had a chance to get Jaque out early he totally misstimed a forward defensive which flew threw the gap between 2nd and 4th slip, there was no chance anyone could reach it.
But even though they have kept things tight they desrve some wickets and will hope to knock a few over after the lunch break!!!
Nice spell from Rossy and Hopa. Maybe you should delete Rossy as he is banned. Don't know for how long though. Hope to get a bowl with my part-time wrist spin.
Sorry Duffie. But wasn't my post about Rossy keeping on topic. Oh and Punk I had a great idea. For Rossy you could get someone who wanted to play to take his place but keep his name as Ross Mathers. At the end of the season you change it back to the name they want.
