I am really surprised to see "Jai Ho" winning Grammy award. It's such an irritating song and worst I have ever heard. AR has produced 1000s of songs which are 100 times better than Jai Ho. I am afraid about the judges of the Grammy Awards.:p

Exaggeration! Jai Ho is a good song, not as irritating as you make it out to be.

Jai Ho might not be bad but its not best Rehman song also

Jai Ho won only because it appealed to the western audiences. Rahman has so many better songs but it doesnt reach out into the western world.

Jai Ho was lucky that it was among the very first to be catered to the Western audience. Frankly I was surprised to see other country people take up to the song so much. Maybe in the coming years, Rahman will introduce most of his big hit Indian songs to the West (with some changes to suit tastes). I guess the West might be blown by his other music if they react like this to 'Jai Ho'

Rahman needs to go to vodafone or at&t and make a tune for the company lol. Airtel tune is getting old. lol

IMO, the Airtel tune will never get old. It's brilliant as it is.

LOL Apparently they're promoting it. I bought a new Airtel Sim last week, and today I get a message that my Hello Tune has been changed to AR Rehman song absolutely free! :p

Tell me your plan? I will get my postpaid converted to prepaid.

man u guys are lucky:(, ur mobile phone plans are extremely, extremely cheap:p

Having a mobile phone in India is fun. Also the options there for Bollywood music as ringtones and ringback tunes are enormous.

Its only recently the rates have gone this low though, and I hope they go lower when they come up with MNP later this year. I have a feeling though we'll follow the US pattern of locking phones into contracts with subsidies and enormous pricing on the data plans once 3G is rolled out (Why on earth was the iPhone 36000 even without 3G anyways?)
