I have been listening to Kishore's "Mere Samne Waale Khidki Me"
A hilarious and great sing:)

Masakali is damn addictive, just so easy to listen to, the whole mood of the song.

You Get Me Rockin & Reelin from Billu Barber is the tune which is dominating my Ipod atm...

It's a good song, but kind of cheesy. Plus, anything by Pritam is at best average. That fraud.

Cricketman added 40 Minutes and 32 Seconds later...

Songs from Aasama are fantastic as well.

Looking forward to get Ada, it's ARR again! :happy

You havent heard to Ada yet. It released quite sometime back (along with Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa). Ada's songs are brilliant too (which album of ARR is not?) but maybe you might not like it as much as JTYJN or Jodhaa Akbar.

True. There's a distinctive difference between any song and a song by AR Rahman...

Yeah man, I feel it's so grooooovy!!

Dunno why but it also reminds me of those tiny dragon flies we used to chase when we were kids. I think one of those is Masakali and it's hopping from one branch to another while we keep chasing it.:p

And did I forget to mention the brilliant vocals!

Of course. But there are plenty of other fine music directors in Indian Music. Like Shankar, Ehsaan, and Loy. Some are just frauds, ala Pritam. These songs are cheesy and if they are good, usually rips from some other song. Like Pehli Nazaar Mein was a Korean song. Note for note was copied.

I was in a club last night and for some reason they were playing lots of Indian.....dance music, I suppose you would call it. Everyone was a wee bit sceptical at first, but then we actually realised it was ok. I am really getting into this Bollywood, Indian, whatever it is called :p music

Bollywood puts out good dance numbers but little else. A R Rahman is an exception though.

You sure i wasnt Punjabi/Bhangra music? They're pretty 'ddance friendly'...

despise it though.

Mumma from Dasvidanya is hilarious and mood making song for me is it Kailas?
