Story Hit Out OR Get Out - It's days of 20-20

@Bevab - Haha, thanks for pointing out that mistake. It is still Matt. :p

@Dipak - I'm not good at naming stories. As the story progresses, the title might start to make sense. :)

A life changing call - Part II continues....

I had to reply to Steve Waugh about whether I wanna join his cricket academy or not. It was a tough decision, I wasn't sure whether this was the right step or not but then cricket was my life, without it I wasn't happy, it was my passion and this was the only chance that would allow me to make a name for myself in this game of cricket and being coached in Steve's academy is something that a youngster would hope for, considering how good a cricketer he was himself!

Me : Yes sir, I'd like to join the academy.
Steve Waugh : Excellent. See you at the academy then, tomorrow at 8:00 AM. On saturday's and sunday's the academy goes from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM but on weekdays it just goes on for two hours 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. It's very close to Sydney Cricket Ground, just give me a call when you reach there. I don't visit the academy everyday but I do try and visit there once or twice a week if I'm in Sydney. Take the training for three years and then we will see if you're good enough for the higher level of cricket.
Me : Great sir, I'll be there.

And that was it. I had made one of the biggest decisions of my life, if not the biggest. After hanging up the phone, I started wondering for quite a few minutes that was my decision right, should have I said no! But I realized that it's too late now and suddenly the thought of doing the college along with cricket training came to my mind. I called my father and as usual he was supportive he told me that college ends at 4:00, I can rest for an hour and then go to the academy as the academy wasn't far from where I was living and the college either. He said "this might be tough, Son. It might be tiring but once you get your chance at the higher level, it will all be very satisfying. "

And now I was very motivated, getting support from your parents is always important when you're taking a big step and my parents supported me. In the next update, we will skip to 4 years into future and see if I was able to complete my college and at the same time, my cricket training and did I get any chance at the higher level. :)

You have taken a good step here. Without training even Sachin Tendulkar is zero ;)
