Cant you just connect a bluetooth to the ps3? thats how i work it. Works really well as a mic and a headphone.

I bought my "fancy" blutooth from walmart.

Bottom of the line motorolla for 35 bucks. It has worked like a charm for a year despite being dropped, kicked, and sat on.

Just go for that.

Plug it into the ps3 and go to accessories > audio device settings
