So, my (probable best) match has ended, got 43 runs from 48 deliveries (shouldnt have said anything, might have got more!) on top of bowling stats of 23 overs 6 for 68, and 15 overs and 2 for 35 in the second innings (bit upset the captain took me off tbh, wanted my first 10 wicket haul. (Essex vs Durham)

My stats...from 22 first class games and 28 innings...got 216 runs at an average of 7.71 (horrendously poor!) However, with 100 wickets and an average of 13.23 ad economy of 2.94 i think i make up for that low batting average. In regards to the pro"40" i've got 33 wickets and 24 runs. As a number 8 i'd rather go out and smack the ball around a bit *totally unsuccessfully!*

Next match: Pro40, Essex vs Netherlands; wish me luck!

Good couple of days in Career mode with IPL games. Batting number 3, came in around the 4th over both times and just picked apart the field. Scoring all over!

Got out first time for 96 off 27, almost scored a below 30 ball hundred which i've been trying to do. Next day had a good knock and scored a 33 ball 100.

Currently 22nd/23rd on the overall career leader board and loving it. Haven't played so much over the last week.

2+ years of awful scores later, finally starting to flourish into what could be my "purple patch". It is quite rewarding.

After the 3 FC hundreds for Delhi that I mentioned before, finally scored my first List A ton against Mumbai along with MOTM - 146 off 118 chasing 268. Got out trying to play across the line to Iqbal Abdulla :mad but only after ripping him apart in the V with lofted off/on drives.

Ofcourse, the big scores mean I am not able to play too many innings per day because it takes time building an innings and is quite draining. But I like it this way :D

Just scored 159 off 61 balls in a T20 with Nottingham....Great feeling.

But..problem is that my selection status says that I am already a regular member of Aussie t20 side when I havent even been offered a contract yet???!!!!
I am in the middle of the english t20 Competition. Also I am getting attention from IPL teams
So my ? is could it be possible that I directly make it to the IPL team and bypass the Aussie t20s altogether by the end of the english tournament?
And is the part calling me a regular member of aussie t20 despite still playing for Notingham.. a bug?

I got confused by this as well! By the end of the English Domestic season, you will be offered a contract from three Australian teams!
The way it works domestically is:
English first class/p4o - English t20 - Second half of FC and p40.
Then Australian Domestic - followed by the IPL.

So just finish your current season and you should be fine!

Career progress

I am in my third year of Career as a specialist #4 batsman.
First class avg is 21
One day avg is 22
T20 avg is 32

Currently in year three and expecting selection for all forms for nz. Am a number five batting all rounder but only my bowling has got me there really.

Enjoying the challenge of odi. Last night I got pasted taking 4/83 off ten. Was getting hit all over the ground regardless of how good the deliveries were. Odi as stats are now 20.1 average with the ball and 19 with the bat.

Recently got the game and started a career as an opening batsman, wanted batting allrounder but weirdly couldnt open the batting if i choose this. Anyway ist couple of innings were a real eye opening in terms of how tough it really is, think my first 4 innings (county and pro40) were all scores under 5 including two ducks. Went and practiced a bit and things really picked up, last four innings I believe were 28, 43, 59 (big fist pump for this) and 26. Going to hv to practice a bit more against spinners though cus on both occasions (43, 59), got out as soon as the spinner came on.

Just had a disaster batting. Ran a two that was an easy two. Pressed the run quick and get in button to hasten the run against the throw, all looked fine. Non-striker then stops completely before the line and gets run out. He was on 50odd. Get caught in the slips next ball. Team was 100-4 at the time. Whoops.

As it stands, got my first 50 (chuffed isnt the word as it was to prevent the follow on) and first 10 wicket haul against Surrey. Essex currently standing at 275-5 needing 59 runs to win. Probably one of the toughest matches I've played in the game so far.

*EDIT* Ended the game winning by 3 wickets - tried to be clever and doing a ramp shot over the keeper and got out instead with Essex needing 8 runs.

I took 15 wickets for Zimbabwe in a two-Test series against Sri Lanka. Somehow we won both Tests and took the series. Malcolm Waller made two massive hundreds. I chipped in with a handy 20-30 runs each innings too.

Anybody else playing as a Zimbawean? I think @SpitfiresKent is but that is all that I know. I would love to hear how the boys are getting smashed around.

My player (No.3 Batsman) helped the team (Wor) win the English T20 cup. Expecting Australian T20 selection soon. He was the highest run getter of the tournament followed by Ian Bell. His highest scores were 104 off 50, 92 off 33 and 87 off 35. He also scored the quickest 50 in just 12 balls. I say quickest because he was on 54 when he crossed the 50 mark with a six, off just 12 balls. In the finals he played a quick 74 off 30 something and got the MOTM award. Off 9 or 10 matches played he failed to cross 50 mark just thrice. Plus he got a century to his name too. Average of 62 and strike rate of 300+

He played at his best during the power play overs. And whenever the captain of opposition decided to bring on a spinner, he quickly regretted his decision.

In P40's my players average is about 48.44 and his highest score is a quick 114, with an excellent strike rate of 230. The same cannot be said about test matches where he just averages at 4 at a strike rate of 170. Highest score being just a 25.

Now I am furious to my Glamorgan captain, M.Wallace. On the last test match I got 4 wicket in both innings but he can't give me the ball just after getting 4th wicket, I just can't even try to get for the 5th wicket. After that in the next P40 match he didn't give me the ball at all through I am now the highest wicket taking bowler in the team. Pathetic captaincy. :facepalm:facepalm

I want to bowl finger spin, but i can't control the clockwise movement on the LAS. Like in legspin i prefer the anti clockwise movement. Is it possible to do finger spin anti clockwise?
