How can England win the 2009 Ashes?

I could see Australia using Hilfenhaus as hes a good swing bowler and also my uncles tennant(means rented someplace in his house.) in 2005 upstairs by the way its not a normal house as upstairs isn't attached to downstairs as some dumb people think

Hard to say what can and cannot happen until 2009, but certainly a long way off. It feels like it's been so long ago that Langer, Warne and McGrath all retired and there's no telling who will retire for Australia but most likely nearly or over half the team will have not played against the '06 England.

I think England have a better chance in the next ashes because of the home advantage plus guys like Hayden,Gilly wont be there.

One wouldn't be so certain. Hayden seems pretty indestructible currently and lesser players have survived to the age of 38.

Gilly and Hayden aren't the only problem for England there is alot more talent to Australia than just those two players.

We'll win the Ashes if we stop looking at them as being unbeatable. In 2005 we knew they were good, but we worked around that by working out their batsmen and having a high self-belief in place. In 2006 we just seemed to turn up and expect to lose, the preparation was terrible and we seemed to be clueless.

Australia aren't unbeatable, especially the team as it is at the moment.

MacGill looks on his last legs now, so in two years time I can't see them having anywhere near as good a Spin bowling attack as even MacGill, let alone Warne.

Quite when Andrew Symonds became a class Test player is beyond me as well.

Exactly. some of the drives the Sri Lankans have been attempting have been criminal, Johnson has a lot of potential, could be the one to watch in '09.

Jordox we are superior to everyone It's a long way off bu by ow we already had the core of our squad together and winning matches ad for us now the latter certainly doesn't look very likely.
