How do you prepare for your exams?

And my level of intelligence bars me from getting much better than a C.

I'm sure you're more than intelligent enough to get A's, some people just struggle with getting their ideas and knowledge through. Do you ever end up writing too much and not finishing an exam? I've done that before.

Anyway, C is usually regarded to be average ability, at least in England. I don't see why it's such a disaster, if you get C's your still doing better than almost half the 16/18 year olds in England...

I need BBB for Edinburgh.

I'd be happier getting BBB and enjoying myself during the exam period than getting AAA and not leaving the house. Far happier.

I'd much rather have the memories from last friday night on the ale and footy saturday morning that be able to show off my superfluous AAA.

Anyone else got English Literature on Tuesday?

Got 71% today! WHOO HOO! Pass mark = 70%.

Time to party.:banana2

An A is 90%+ here, and anything less (at least for me) is unacceptable.

Good for you.......

But to feel happy about a C...that I don't get.

LOL, I think ecstatic when I got at least C's to get into Aberdeen. As Matt said, I was too busy enjoying being young to lock myself in a room and care about whether I get 91% or 92%....... You only get to live once, why bother stressing out about getting that extra few % it makes sod all difference once you start work, as then they don't even care about exam grades, it is all down to previous work experience.

Oy, I managed to pass my first year exams unlike 73% of the people on my history course. Admittedly I got only 1 mark above the pass mark, but who's counting?

Bump!

OMFG! My exams are next week, exams for every subject in 5 days but i'm only in year 8
and I hate revising and all, so boring, what to do...

Ja, I have my yearly's next week/week after. fml.

I did pretty ████ in my year 8 yearly's. I'm in Science 6 and History/Geography 5 lolol. (6 is lowest) I'm in Maths 2 and a decent English though.

But don't worry about failing the Year 8 ones. I'm still learning as much in History 5 as I was when I was in the extension class in Year 7. I'm not learning anything in Science though because I rather spend my time listening to music. Fmd science is dire lol.

Should I be revising lol? I'm not sure coz some of my friends are revising and some aren't and I have Geo and History on Monday and I don't give a pig about em both

Just a bit of revision i spose. Half an hour a week, maybe half an hour before a maths test. Other than that really cbs, I ace all of them anyway :P

Brilliant students are like rocket crackers, we dont start studying until our tail is on fire. (i.e. at the last moment)

Mine is on December still dunno what's our syllabus :D

If i want prepare for exam i will never study whatever in my mind i just write on supplement
:rtfl :rtfl :rtfl :rtfl

Poster my walls with papers! Thats pretty much the only thing I do, highlighting important parts so as I walk in and out of my room I glance at them. Also, listening to music, generally if i'm revising I'll listen to one band and then just think of the music when in the exam!
