How much do English county cricketers earn?

In Australia, our state cricketers earn inbetween 44k minimum and 120k maximum... Does anyone know how much do English county cricketers earn?

Varies from county to county, Middlesex/Surrey probably get paid the best. I'd say it varies from ?20k-?60k. Quite a rough guess, but based on cars, etc. Quite similar pay really.

Knowing the overall wage budget for Kent, I'd say Sureshot's estimates are not too far off, although I am sure big name players can exceed the top end of that. Overseas and Kolpak players generally out earn English players by quite a margin too.
