How To Break A Long Standing Partnership?

Classic XI only made 150 against me...and i easily chased that down in 12 overs for only 1 wicket.

I am currently going through the World 11 series, and im am bowling as Australia, to the Northen Hemesphere, currently on strike is Lara on 111 and Sahwag 78, they are currently on a partnership worth somthing in the region of 225 and im getting pretty annoyed, ive tried spin, swing, straight EVERYTHING, anyone n e ideas about how to bowl one of them out, i usually have trouble bowling to left handers, but lara is another thing

I would love to see AI score runs against me!!! Unfortunately I have yet to see AI exceeding 200 so far :crying

Enjoy it while it lasts

You usually have one good partnership which lasts almost half (or more) the innings. I know when playing India, Dravid and Laxman just wouldn't get out or score many runs. Against Australia its usually Ponting and Martyn

People want realism in the game Karachi and basically the AI is not real at all. But as Drewska said using the player editor improve the batting stats - it makes the game a lot more challenging on test.

Hehe, forgot about this thread

And thanks for all the help from people giving ideas how to break this partnership, basically it went on for another 20 overs with lara two runs shy of his 250 and Sahwag stayed till the end getting a massive 352 runs, although the Northern Hemesphere got around 450 runs for 9 wickets (Declared) i got passed that total and made 547 runs, in the second innings again, Lara and Sahwag came together, i was thinking the worst of my wonderful early bowling, when stupidly i accidently knocked my analog stick, and it finished as a wider delivery which Lara went fishing for, Symonds comes running in from 3rd man and takes a catch, second innings total of 116 all out, which i chased down and beat easily without loss, thank you again, really helped doing a few full tosses and swinging them in, with both Mcgraph and Lee, also i used an outswinger for Mcgraph which is effective for tailenders, dunno if people know that already :D.....Simbazz

I would say enjoy the fact that the Computer has actually scored some runs!

Other than that, try sticking to a line and length for a few overs, swing 5 away, one in, and keep plugging away, should strike eventually :)

I always do that when parthenership is geting bigger!

I was wondering how can a team post a total of 450 when two of the batters get 250 and 352 ;) Or maybe Sehwag got 152 and not 352 :cheers

I was never good with numbers ;) the Sehwag did get that score so im guessing Northen Hempesphere got more, im not sure how many they scored, but it was a biggish total for the computer to post, it must have been around 550, cos i got the rest of em out no problem :D

:help adding up isnt good :D

The AI needs to be more smarter. You only get them out quite randomly.
Needs to be abit like C2005, a couple of short ones then a much quicker one on the stumps.

I was playing the world xi championship and northern hemisphere guys made some 400 odd runs in 3 days brian lara making 273 not out out of 560 balls and Inzi making 124 of 505 balls. Once i got inzi out brian lara was on 250. I bundled up the team at the other end for almost no runs. If u break one big partnership then its is up for the team.

You do not have to throw a ball to the stump, just like tricking bowlers imagine a long strip line from you and the stumps. Try to move the cursor from 6 meters away from the stumps and try to mix any speed, you don't have to throw it perfecting in the middle. Let go of a pitch that is intentionally going in the batters rhythm and there is a 65% chance of pop up...

i use a trick which allows me wickets. For lefties bowl the normal bowl button and then press the leg cutter which goes out for lefties near the offstump at good length. Then when the ball is in air press the in swing for the lefty. 60% of the time he gets fooled but u have to keep some variations before u bowl this. Practice makes perfect and once u master it u can get many wickets. Do the opposite for the righty.
