How to slow down the outfield?

Eddie incorporated this into his patch, but I did not want all the other features he included. Could someone please tell me how to slow down the outfield in cricket 2005.

Great link, however setting outfield speed isn't there.

I have found it and have downloaded Prakashes editor. However when I open the tabs all I get are strange signs, no numbers or text.

That editor is for cricket 2004. For cricket 2005 you have to edit field_physics.cfg file, you will find that file in 2bb7ad25c9aa96dc7b6f670d84a4df83.big. Adjust VelToSpin to change the speed of the outfield.

I try to edit speeds and seam, but when I save it goes back to default.

Changes made to the speed/swing values hardly affect the gameplay,if at all..So,in short, you cannot change the amount of swing and speed by modifying the configs...

And the worst thing about it is that Xspeed doesnt work with Cricket 2005..else we could have enjoyed a fast(er)-paced game...
