Ah yes, the agnostic dyslexic: I don't believe in Dog!

I don't think that English is neccessarily the problem: the maturity, or lack of it is. If your average poster is sitting on a pile of cushions to reach the computer you are going to different types of postings than when they are all as well-educated and informed as myself!:p

People can't be blamed for being young and immature but it will drive people who are looking for something more away from the forum.

Personally I think the whole road cricket is going down is partly the reason: it is all smash and grab and appeals more to your 14 year old than to your older person.

There is a distinct lack of cricket knowledge and insight into the subtleties and history of cricket.

I sound like a frustrated old geezer but the fact is that there aint a lot going on here that makes it really worthwhile.

My hope is that the Ashes series will rejuvinate some good, interesting and insightful postings as well as being an oppertunity for some good, clever banter.

Thanks guys. I am just sticking my nose in so will be gone again in a couple of days. I just have a break from my present activities and have some time on my hands. Once the Ashes start I hope to get back into things more consistently.

As with all of us cricket is agreat passion of mine and one I follow with great enjoyment and so it is logical that one seeks the opinions and comments of likewise people (what the heck does all that mean!) Anyway good to "see" you all again and I hope everything is going as well with your lives as it is with mine.

Great to have PC's best old geezer back on the forums, even if it's just for a short while :p.

Welcome back Dutchad! I'd love to see a limerick or two from you again, the earlier ones were amazing.:)

^Welcome back Dutchad, missed you so much.
I'm glad to see you.

Hi all,

Had a great time here, will be not directly quitting it, but I won't come regularly. May be one / twice in a week. Uni's started, so, I'm completely busy. Throw in a VM/PM, if you wanna contact me. And I'll try finishing the ongoing patch of mine shortly. I'll keep the work in progress at the week ends and provide some stuff whenever I log in..

you go to university?

I am completely out of words.

Whilst surfing the waves of PC
A brilliant idea came upon me
Wouldn't it be great
If instead of being irate
I could rhyme all my answers to thee

However, because of not having much time
I couldn't be bothered to think up a good rhyme
I stared at my screen
What can it all mean?
When the last line just doesn't fit either rhythmically or in terms of consistent content perceptions?

This thread is pointless. If you don't like it here or your going on holiday - just leave. Why do you have to announce it?
