I am leaving/back thread

This was the heavy stuff?

I thought a family member had died or something along those lines

No, my parents are seperating and still are as far as I know. I was in line to leave my house with my Mum but that's been put on hold at least for now.

Well, as they say, divorce is hardest on the children.

Sorry to hear it.

Year, sorry to hear that Lee.
My parents split last year and was a hard time for me and my sister so I know what you're going to through mate.

For a number of reasons, I, like many other members am deciding to call it a day at Planet Cricket.

I have had an interesting time on the forum. It all started with a misunderstanding of my attitude. I like to take the mick and generally have a good time, sometimes at other peoples exspense! This attitude cost me, but I wouldn't change getting put on mod-preview for the world. It made people take note! Haha! From there I met some good people, and some bad people. But the friendly community is what made me stay on for the most part.

My main reason for leaving is my lack of time on the internet nowadays as im starting to realise life is short and I have to make the most of my time. This sounds really cheesey, but it's sooo true! Over the past 6 months I have done a lot of travelling the world and want to do more. I want to go out and get smashed more, I want to go out and meet lots of new people. These things take time and commitment.

I hope you will remember me for many a good thing, and not too many of the bad. I will try my best to comeback and post every now and then, but I wouldn't count on it.

Here are some lasting memories of certain members:

The first four geezers I met at PC:

Kev - Old fart
Stevie - Caveman
Muel (Sam) - What a guy! Seriously one of the funniest I have met, and never judged. I wish him all the best at uni.
Briggsey - Sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some other muppets:

Langerrox - Bit of an arse at first but we ended up getting along :p
Barmyarmy (Colin) - Half a job
Evertonfan - Scummer
Gaurav - Top Indian guy!
Bala - Another top Indian guy who used to try better me on the cricket field, he never will!!!
Simbazz - His girlfriend has a penis

Ciao for now!

I'm about a month late but what the hell. James is a true legend. Aside from Stevie and Puddle, no one has made my time on PC more enjoyable than the legendary James. We had a love hate relationship in the sense that I loved him and he hated me. I eagerly await James' release of his budget film Caterpillars in a Sauna, and I also wait to see just how DJ Ager will pay.

Have a good time with your life James and next time you get your hubcaps nicked, just think of me.

I know you'll all be crying yoru eyes out to hear it but my time on PC is coming to an end. Not only am I a working man these days, but i've also found PC to be a little bit tedious. There are just way too many youngsters signing up these days and a lot of the old heads have left. Kev, James, Puddleduck, Sam and Duff are just a few that have left to make PC a less enjoyable place. I still find it fairly enjoyable but it's just not sustainable. You'll still see me around in the India in England thread because you can't keep a good ranter down.

I'd like to offer my heart warmed thanks to a few members who really made PC a great place.

- James was the first person on PC to make me laugh by simply abusing people.
- Stevie is PC's best mod by far and a genuinly great bloke
- Stuart is also a great guy off the forums and I am actually considering meeting him in person
- Jeremy and Sureshot are absolute legends in terms of Cricket Chat; They really know their stuff.
- Sohum can also be added to that list.
- Of course Colin gets a mention; He's just a good person who runs a successful forum very well.

And for those people who I just love to hate;

- It's no great secret that me and Simbazz don't get along, but he's not a bad guy. We just have different personalities.
- Gambino is an absolute legend but no one likes him.
- Drewska is a legend too. But he will never admit that he actually does love me very much!!
- Lee is a person i've argued with many times, but I hope he realises that I do respect him even though he is a dirty FIFA-ite.

Sorry to anyone who i've left out. I'm also sorry for ranting as if everybody loves me when they don't but even so, it's the end of a very scouse era. ;)

Damn, another nail in the coffin of planetcricket and it is not looking good as the original surge of members for Cricket 2004 and Cricket 2005 have grown up and started going to Uni, etc...

Best of luck in your future Evertonfan and I look forward to arguing with you in the India Vs England thread:p. You are the true legend of planetcricket:).

You stole our hearts :D

No, my parents are seperating and still are as far as I know. I was in line to leave my house with my Mum but that's been put on hold at least for now.

Sorry to hear that Lee, hope you pull through ok.

Adios Senoir! Btw ive managed to get on the net today at work as you can tell :).

For those who are interested, my new summer job is a sales assistant in JJB, which basically means I help old people buy football kits for their nephews.

I don't start until next week so I plan to stick around for a short while but again i'll mention, it'll probably only be the India in England thread that i'll be taking part in. I'm not the same multi-thread evertonfan anymore.

Hope to keep in touch with most of you on MSN though!

When you say sales assistant does that mean your not even on the tills? Get a real job and work in the city ;).
