Those would be my votes. Amazed to see Graham Onions included in the cricketer of the year voting. He's had an incredible season in County cricket, but he's not done enough to be considered for cricketer of the year, definitely should be up there for Emerging Player though. The ODi player of the year was difficult, but I went with a bowler, Kulasekara. He's an excellent ODi bowler, and deservedly rated highly in the ICC rankings system, may as well give the award to him. ABDV blatently deserves the Cricketer of The Year award tbh. He's been awesome across all forms, and deserves some recognition. Massive fan of AB. Warner's International Debut score against SA in a T20 gets him the T20 performance of the year as well. To smash around that attack, having never played FC cricket before was incredible. <3 the Warner.

Kumar Sangakkara (SRI)

Test Player of the Year:
Daniel Vettori(NZL)

ODI Player of the Year:
Yuvraj Singh (IND)

Emerging Player:
Jesse Ryder (NZL)

Associate and Affiliate Player of the Year:
Rizwan Cheema (Can), But had Noor Ali been nominated like he should've he'd leave Cheema in the dust.

Twenty20 International Performance of the Year:
Tillakaratne Dilshan (SRI)

Women's Cricketer of the Year:
Suzie Bates (NZL)

Umpire of the Year:
Simon Taufel (Aus)

How Stuart Broad's fielding against Holland was not nominated for twenty20 performance of the year is beyond me.

On serious note, UV is ODI player of the year and Tauffel is umpire. Rest can be lottery.

Me. I'm right 95% of the time

Samarweera has had better time than Strauss.

I beg to differ. Samaraweera's average is better in the last 12 months, but he's only scored runs in the subcontinent, in conditions he's used to, and on pitches in Pakistan that were roads. Strauss has scored runs in 3 different countries, against 2 quality sides in India and Australia, and also scored well against the Windies at home and away. Strauss has led from the front brilliantly as captain, averaging over 60, with 6 hundreds in 14 Tests. I'd give Straussy the award over Samaraweera.
