ICC Champions Trophy 2009

Nice dream. India has not lost to Pakistan in ICC events.

Lol forgot about that one. That was a surprise though.

Finally, an India Pakistan clash which actually means something and is longer than 20 overs. Not one of those 5 Match Series matches or Twenty20 games.

England will win this easily............. haha just kidding. It will be the Saffas

And an India-Australia one too. Two high voltage clashes. With the West Indian players ending their boycott, they might send their best team too, which means this group will be hugely exciting if the teams play close to their potential.

Looks like Nazir and Rana Naved are back in the Pakistan fold. Pakistan are back to their best strength possible, and the Centurion match should be a cracker. I am not betting on anyone but I always think India can pull it off, esp. against Pakistan. I am pretty excited about this tournament. Hopefully, it will be great cricket!

Great to see Hughes in the frame, he could use the ODIs to learn to score on the leg side more. And congrats to Holland and McKay two future prospects.

India and Pakistan in the same group!!
Easy victories for India, as Pakistan has just defeated India once in an ICC Event as far as I remember.

so then they are due a victory. I would not put anything past them even though the better team generally will win over 50 overs as opposed to 2020 .

Hopefully they select either Hughes or Warner over Marsh.

Not likely I would say. Selectors seem to have lost faith in Warner and I don't think they see Hughes as a ODI batter due to his lack of shots. We will know more once we get to the ODI part of the English tour, basically whoever is picked there should be a shoe in for this.
