ICC Champions Trophy 2013 - England & Wales

Steyn is doubtful for the game against Pakis too. Morne Morkel is also out of the tournament. Very bad days ahead for SAF. :facepalm

If SAF batting fails, it would be easy task for Misbah & Co

Ball is dominating in few games so far, that's interesting but making CT somewhat boring. Despite new rules making way for batsmen, bowlers are dominating here due to English conditions. :rolleyes

Except first game and England inning against Aussies, all 5 teams have struggled to bat at full strength. Hope we will see batting-friendly conditions in coming days.

Personally 250 runs , 19 wickets, ball swinging and turning are way more interesting for me than 500 runs 10 wickets and no turn and seam/swing at all!!

Had enjoyed the Win-Pak and Srl-Nzl game more!!

Tomorrow am going to watch Pakistan Vs South Africa. First ever cricket match I am ever going to, really excited.

Hope Pakistan win, that way the value of my Pakistan Vs India ticket will increase. Already seem some selling for 120 quid.

@Ahmed, what makes you say that Kamran Akmal is the only batsman who can bat. His average is not more than 25-26 iirc. He fails miserably against quality teams and in pressure situation. His role in match/spot fixing has also sprung up many times. I am sure you remember the Sydney where he dropped Hussy three four times and then did not run Watson out. He is the worst choice for Pakistan as a Wicket Keeper. Rizwan Ullah of Peshawar is better and he is also no fixer.

Agreed the Pakistanis are not full strenght, frightening to think when Gul and Asif becomes available how dangerous that bowling lineup would be. I used SA since by many they are regarded as having the best bowling lineup with Steyn/Morkel and co.

You can lock horns with a raging bull with his pants down for all I care but on the 11th I would be supporting the West Indians to rough up the Indians also.

I doubt Asif will be as good as he once was when returns after serving a 5 year ban. You should not forget that its the spin that makes the Pakistani attack more lethal and not the pace. Going by just pace, I will choose the Africans over the South Asians any day.

That's one hell of a great game to have as your first. Hope you have a great time and its a good game for you.

Should be a good game pak vs saf, both teams need a win.Saf should win on the strength of there batting, mind you who knows wat pak team shows up

Pakistan needs to introduce Ajmal, Amla is looking too comfortable right now.

I swear to god if Sanjay Manjrekar makes one more Indian reference during this game, I'm going to slap him silly.

Average finish at the end by Pakistan. Why did Misbah bring in Junaid Khan when malik was bowling so well. They should have restricted them to 215-220.

This should be easy for pakistan, Job well done by the bowlers, specially Today the fielding was good. Jamshed and Farhat have to bat for at least 15 overs and give pakistan a good start.

Time some bit of nostalgia and some sweet co-incidences:

- India will face West Indies tomorrow for the first time on English soil, after that hugely memorable and classic 1983 World Cup final where Kapil Dev lifted the trophy in the Lord's balcony

- And India go into this match with their "World Cup Champions" tag intact (since they won the 2011 WC).

Pretty interesting bit of nostalgia that! If only this game was at Lord's, it would have been even more nostalgic.:D

Pakistan in big trouble here against SA. Misbah is playing his typical innings which is pulling Pakistan down further. Pakistan have only one more over of the Powerplay and they are staring at a required run rate of 9.08. With Misbah there, it becomes even more harder. SA have done so well in the Powerplay here. 23 runs off 4.2 overs in a Powerplay is brilliant!

This Champions Trophy feels so 90's all over again. Excellent tournament so far! Bowler friendly conditions aiding to some stellar cricket. I am following a non-India game after a long long time.

Though the wickets are not as green as one would want to but good to see the bowlers dominate cricket after a very long time.Even with the new rules which has made life difficult for the bowlers, they have done well.

Looks like Pakistan is the team that will be on the brink of elimination. If they lose, they have to hope two other teams remain on just 2 points when they take on India on June 15th. If WI beat India and SA beat WI, Pak are out. If Ind beat WI and WI beat SA, Pak are out.

Pak will be hoping that WI win their remaining two games against India and SA. Thats the only way Pak can stay in the hunt.

It's pathetic to see Pakistan losing to a South African side which does not even have have their two strike bowlers. Just shows how bad Pakistan batting is.

This should be easy for pakistan,.

There is nothing easy when Pakistan is chasing
