Your Cricket ICC Standard Backyard Cricket Rules

Also a fun rule - Warnings. I play in my building right, so there is a ceiling overhead. Well, kind of a ceiling. More like air filters and lights. So, the avoid the breakage of these and the banning of cricket in the building (Not that it is legal anyways...), we have warnings. Basically, hit the ceiling thrice and your out.

Interesting... I've been on the end of a beamer that went through the offending bowler's window.

Beamers are fine, so long as you adequately equiped to deal with them.

:D

My mates and I learned that lesson when we broke a light bulb from a wayward beamer. Seem's it is a dangerous delivery both on and off the field.

LOL... I created a good two player version of backyard cricket, best suited to smaller gardens with plants around the edges. If it is too small you can play underarm rules, thats ok, but not as good as overarm. If you hit the ball into the fence without it bouncing you get 6, if it bounces and hits fence you get 4. No caught behinds. Only plumb LBWs are accepted.
