Edit: sorry, didn't see the scores had been posted already!

Ooooh, we're through, brilliant! We're one game away from being promoted to Division 2, that's so huge. Though we've never beaten the Cayman Islands before, but who knows, and even if we lose they've made us proud. And the two pre-tournament favourites face each other in the other semifinal, which should be a very close game.
On another note, you gotta feel sorry for the Italians... they won two games and went out on NRR in the end, and Division Four will be awfully tough as well. Hong Kong have shown just how awful they are, and have lost to Tanzania, while Fiji's batting today was unbelievably poor, although credit should also go to an inspired performance from our bowlers. Fiji were 7 down for 9, and if it hadn't been for the extras and a tailender who hit double figures their total would have been even poorer.

Well all the time i hear the commentators call them minnows. I don't see anything wrong with it. It is just a term which describes their skill. I also don't see the point in calling them fancy words like associates as it does not reflect their cricketing skill.

You've basically demonstrated why he doesnt like people calling them minnows.

Papa New Guinea won but they were pushed quite close by the Cayman Islands.
I am supporting PNG in this league I read a feature about them in a magazine about a year ago.

Damn! I was hoping Italy would finish higher. Oh well. Does that mean they drop down to Division Four?

Italy do, yes. Argentina and Uganda are promoted to Division Two, played at the end of the year. PNG and the Caymans stay in Division Three, next played in January/February 2009. Everyone else drops down to Division Four, played in the second half of 2008.
