filth?

cricinfo says the bowling is very controlled and on target
Duminy has pitched more in his own half than the batsmen's. They've all been waist high by the time they get up the other end. Absolute drag downs like you'd see down the local village green every Saturday in the summer. Root obviously felt that 11 balls was enough of a sighter before finally putting one over the ropes where a lot of them should have gone. Morgan probably doing us a favour by getting out to be honest.

By filth I am sure he means good. I am watching and they are bowling good.

Fantastic batting by Root. I don't see any problem in chasing that "huge" total though. But the worrying fact is that they don't have much wickets in hand.

Did you not just watch his 3rd over? First ball - drag down 4. Fourth ball - drag down Root picks out the fielder for 2. Last ball - drag down 6.

Good bowling? What are you watching?

Its not like SAF are helping themselves here - 16 EXTRAS

70 from 7, 6 wkts in hand

:| Oh boy

Lost 2M on South Africa. :(

Honestly, it should be really easy for Eng from this point onwards

Wow this has been some poor poor bowling from South Africa. Definitely the last team I expected to bowl that many wides. With 5 regular bowlers and Duminy giving you 2 bonus overs and a wicket, that is just garbage bowling. There is not even as much dew as it was a couple of days ago in that WI vs Eng match. Root played well but absolute rubbish from South African bowlers.

Dreadful bowling performance. Only positive is its only the first game of the tournament. All three pre tournament favorites losing their first game.

Wow what a chase by England! The way they started gave impressions that it is going to be special. 44 after 2 overs with Steyn and Rabada bowling, it was an awesome start and a much needed one. Really enjoyed watching this match after so many slow paced games.

So SAF now have the unfortunate record of being on the wrong side of two highest totals chased in T20I

Great run chase. Top knock from Root after a slow start and really good from Roy at the top of the order. To think we had Morgan struggling to get it off the square and Buttler gifting them a wicket. We could have got home with a couple of overs to spare. Nice to know we can still wobble at the end and get over the line. Something South Africa could learn from. :D
