Our batsmen's performance other than Virat is really pathic. We need to draft in Pandey at any cost if we don't want to see a sudden collapse in batting order. I have a playing XI for India which might be impactful.
Rahane
Rohit
Kohli
Raina
Pandey
Dhoni
Pandya
Jadeja
Ashwin
Bumrah
Nehra

This is a perfect T20 lineup and if Dhoni could execute a proper plan and bring in this lineup agaist WI, I don't see we'll lose from here considering the batting conditions at Wankhade.

If we lose from here, we'll surely see Dhawan being dropped from the team for couple of years and I don't think he'll be back after performing in IPL. He has completely forgotten how to play the game. Raina will be second in the list seeing his recent form. He has developed himself as a horrible player. Good luck to Dhoni and his favourite playing XI which has 5 CSK players and one player warming the bench.

Unfortunately your team India have a overconfident captain, named Dhoni.
So there is no chance of this lineup.

I think no one gave England a chance but I am mighty impressed on how they have adopted. KUDOS to England. The only weaklink I see in England is Morgan

Morgan isn't a weak link. He's class. He's just in bad form. In the same way that Rohit Sharma isn't doing the business at the moment. Still a quality player.

I disagree. West Indies is made up of the best T20 players around the world. I'm pretty sure that when you bat till 9/10 you can expect two players to come off especially when all of them are trained T20 players (bar Ramdin). Spesking of consistency what Indian batsmen have consistently performed? Besides Kohli it's none. India are prone to spin so Badree will be licking his lips and even Suliman flipping Ben will fancy his chances against a team filled either inexperienced, underperforming or overrated (Dhoni, Pandya etc.)

Well, by that logic every team bats till 10. And anyone who remotely suggests that Dhoni is 'overrated' in any limited overs format is delusional. The chap is unanimously regarded as the best finisher of the modern era, if not ever. Pandya, in the limited opportunities he's got has made runs and shown that he can strike big when it's needed. Rohit Sharma's fingernails have more class in the limited overs than all the WI batsmen put together. He's become a remarkably consistent performer in the limited overs and dare I sat, his hit and miss ratio compared to Chris Gayle is better. In terms of destruction, they're probably equal.

To be honest, India have played on bad wickets and they haven't batted well either. But, Gayle and Russell aside, not too many headaches in the WI camp. I'd like to see if Lendl Simmons is playing. He can be a headache.

Like I said, WI might beat India today, but they're not half the team India is. Not without Narine.

I think Pandey should replace Yuvraj and rahane should replace Dhawan. This makes the batting lineup balanced.

And also India could try adding Shami instead of Jadeja just for an extra pacer. Although I think it is almost impossible.

I would say that India are a marginally better side, and that's because they've got 4 match winners with the bat. West Indies will rely heavily on Gayle with support from Samuels, Bravo and Sammy.

I do think that West Indies have the slightly smarter bowling attack. People like Badree, Benn and Bravo are masters in this format.

If Gayle bats even for 10 overs, it's game over for India. Expect Ashwin to come early and bowl to Gayle.

The only change we will see today is Yuvi's replacement. Dhoni won't drop Dhawan. I would like to bring in Harbhajan for Yuvi. Bhajji can really control runs flow. He has played a lot in this pitch. . Since this is going to be a batting pitch, Pandya can be relied to score quick 30 in this pitch along with Raina. MSD and Kohli are the main batsmen and I have a feeling Rohit will score today. About Dhawan, well, let's hope he doesn't eat more balls in PP and get out very early. Him scoring runs is like a dream now.

Also, we can't rely on Raina and Pandya to bowl that 2 overs each to complete the four overs. Pandya bowls a lot of full toss and bouncers. WI will belt him around. We need Bhajji.

I pray that WI must defeat India today. If it happens so, we'll get to see Dhoni realising his mistake of playing Out-of-form Dhawan, Raina and Jadeja. This team is a mini CSK with 5 in the playing XI and 1 warming the bench. I have a strong feeling and read in some of the articles that Dhoni is planning to bring in Pawan Negi as Yuvi's replacement. Negi is a n00b and don't know to handle the presssure. His debut match in Bangladesh says it all.

I desperately want to see India losing to WI with a high margin. 10 teams out of 16 teams in this WT20 announced their team before a week or two of commencement of this tournment. But Dhoni built this crappy, out-of-form and fully dependent team before Asia Cup.

Yuvi was dropped for two years after his innings in the finals of WT20 2014. I would like to see Dhoni's actions against these out-of-form players after the loss they face against WI today.

Out-Of-Form jadeja ? Strongly disagree. His batting is bad or worse, sure. But he makes it up with his bowling and fielding. He has bowled really well recently and he is a great asset to our team. When other players are going for runs, he comes and rescues us. Even against Aussies, this happened. And he is the best fielder in our team. I don't wanna see him being dropped.

Pandey was surely great in that Sydney ODI, but how come you expect him to play a very important game even though he hasn't played competitive cricket since then? (It's been 2 months I suppose.)That would make the lineup even more imbalanced I think. You should think 100 times before trusting a player to play his first ever world cup game on a semi-final day, the player who isn't sufficiently experienced on international platform.

Having three pacers against a side that do well against spinners, in my opinion is a fair idea. But what would really make a captain think that a side's in-form bowler and best fielder should be dropped ahead of a crucial match? I'll rather back many opinions that have suggested get Rahane in for Dhawan, and get Bhajji in for Yuvi. Bhajji on his day can grab as many runs as a genuine batsman will. Mumbai Indians had played all their games on Wankhede with 5 bowlers for last 2-3 years and they have succeed. Not to forget, Wankhede has been a batting paradise this tour, which is probably a good sign for our out formers Rohit and Raina. So hoping there are better chances for them returning in form, I believe 6 batsmen and 5 bowlers (5 bowlers that includes some handy batsmen like Jad, Ash & Har) would be a clever idea.

Again we're speaking widely about this, but we know, team management will do its things. So better we wait for today's clash and hope for a better game.

England not take any chance in chasing... they hit every ball in power-play... well done England...

let's see how India play today against WI...

WI win the toss. Obviously they are bowling. India need to score 200.[DOUBLEPOST=1459429779][/DOUBLEPOST]It happened! Dhawan has been dropped. Jinx and Pandey in. Wish Bhajji should have been playing instead of Pandey.

Have to thank God for the great opportunity to see Dhawan out!
