Can i guess for second time....
Match is interesting now and nicely balanced!!!!

Unfortunately no Surendar! That would take away all the fun of the game!

Thanks to Left hander, Surendar, Zorax and others for their constant support. Further updates soon.

Powar strikes again... Gayle dismissed!

Ramesh Powar dealt the second blow to the West Indian innings just as Chris Gayle and Shivnarine Chanderpaul looked to improve the run rate with some good lusty hitting.

Gayle tried to cut a ball from Powar which jumped on him, resulting in lobbing the ball only to be caught by a gleeful Indian captain Dravid.

West Indies are 2/106 in 24 overs. They require 163 runs in 26 overs at 6.30 runs an over. Anything is possible as the West Indies captain Brian Lara walks in to bat!

This is an absolutely fantastic thread. The presentation is fantastic and it makes me want to play BLC once more.

The only game I have played to date, where the ball seams around on a regular basis, the batting configs apply to human shots as well as cpu shots etc etc

Yes it had many faults, but all the configs (including bowling ones), captures etc were made available for editing and it made it a great game

Keep up the good work

Windies have a good chance at this. They might need to up the scoring rate a bit though.

Match is still a balanced one!!!! I will call it 50-50 for both teams becos many great batsman are yet to come!!!!
Lets see whether Indian bowlers get some crucial wickets quickly!!!!!

Chanderpaul and Lara up the tempo...

Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Brian Lara have set upon increasing the run rate. Having a good platform set the two south paws concentrated on improving the run rate. They targetted the spinners Powar and Yuvraj Singh. Chanderpaul was aggressive and launched into an array of strokes including a monstrous six over midwicket of Powar. Lara was more subdued picking runs all over the ground.

The pair has brought up the 150 in the 32nd over. West Indies are looking strong at the moment. Dravid needs to think of some alternate plan to break this partnership.

i stand by my claim that your an oldschool rocker bala. but i love it

Raina strikes first ball!

Dravid's last ditch effort of throwing the ball to part time spinner Suresh Raina worked superbly as the youngster picked Brian Lara with his first ball. Lara tried to cut a ball that was too close to him and the resulting edge was caught superbly by Mahendra SIngh Dhoni.

Lara scored 27 of 31 balls with no hits to the fence. West Indies are 170/3 in 35.1 overs.

They require 99 runs of 89 balls as Ramnaresh Sarwan walks in.

I guess this strip was used by the Windies in 2002. before Digicel took over as the sponsors. We can very well update the kits in BLC. There is this nifty tool called the timeditor. Only problem is I am not able to update the .bmp files as .tim using the editor. Maybe I am missing something.

Chanderpaul dropped!

India might rue this moment. Chanderpaul tried to loft Raina over deep extra cover. Sehwag, who was patrolling that area got under the ball but managed to drop it.

Chanderpaul has smacked 2 sixes en-route to his 50. The difference between runs required and balls remaining is reducing. India will be desparate to get both the batsmen out.
