India bans English cricketers from practising in India!

And how many of you will watch the ipl this year?

Nope, it is practically devoid of tactics, just a quick slog and more often one sided than such a short game should be.

Add on top of that the shameless marketing, the cheer girls who are quite often very ordinary and can't show too much anyway, the constant ads, the excesses of the competition not least the auctions, and the fact that it is pointless cricket, and you have a big fat zero for cricket.

It's like giving someone a crate of coke and them sitting down and drinking can after can after can. You'd think someone would be sick of it after a dozen cans, but for some it feeds an addiction. Like those who watch half the junk on TV, it's nothing TV and yet people record it as if it is unmissable. I'm sorry, I don't criticise people so much if they want to watch things like "a place in the country" or "big brother" or xcrement factor, although it is pure rubbish TV, but to record it if you miss it is really sad. TV is a sad indictment of what people will watch these days, IPL is a similar offering
