India in Pakistan

Akhtar did something very bad but he did realise his mistake late and made peace with Dhoni!

Anyway, lets forget about it, the two of them can renew their clash at Karachi.

So far three domestic matches have been played, two of them ended in 2 & 1/2 days!! while the third one ended on the fourth day.The wkt favors pace bowler, and if they don't shave of the grass then this wkt is likely to produce result.

It can be a great test match.

Yes I agree with you and we shouldn't just stick on on Dhoni-Aktar clash. Just let's move on and talk something else rather than talking about the controversy between Dhoni and Aktar. So, if tomorrow three seamers should be picked and one spinner. And I would go with Akarkar, Zaheer and Pathan. About spinner obvious Kumble.

No RP Singh? Why?

Ganguly in place of Harb for karachi test, thats the news.Does anyone agree with it?

If its a green top then it will interesting to see Ganguly play the match. He might prove useful with the ball and yet might struggle with the bat.If he fails with the bat then he will be dumped from the team forever, however if he score on the greentop, then Indian management will have a real headace for futute matches!

Do you know, Ganguly's two centuries in domestic cricket in recent times have been on bowler friendly wickets! He is changed the way he plays those short balls! I think he will succeed if given the chance! Ganguly has a better chance of succeeding on such wickets now because his game has changed. He gives more importance to settling down and then plays his shots in bursts!

Agarkar because of the variety (right armer) and a useful lower order batsman than RP Singh! But its tough to drop a bowler who has impressed in his debut match! But I would accept whatever decision the think tank takes regarding the fast bowlers!

For once I'd agree that it may be a better selection cause Bhajji hasn't done nothing to merit his selection so far on this tour, but a thought do comes to mind. He could've batted better than Ganguly!!:p

Oh come on! Do not degrade Ganguly so much by comparing his batting with Bhajji! Ganguly's form hasnt been bad that bad in recent times! He is still a decent test batsmaN!

I was looking through and I found this, very interesting.

Aus > 40.00

Kumble seems to do better at home than away!

Kumble has improved tremendously since the series of Australia in Australia in 2003-04. His record outside the sub continent after that series is really good! He is improving overseas!

It isnt a big clash btw Dhoni-Akthar!

A battle is always between Sachin-Akthar! Thats a tremendous battle and one that is always looked forward to!

One reason why Kumble hasn't done well overseas is because of lack of variations. He has developed them only in the last two years and thus is a dangerous player even in away conditions TODAY. He just didn't have that spin.

I think India should get back a regular opener in the place of Yuvraj Singh or may be make Yuvi open. It may well be Dravid again but its always worth to have options. Ganguly should be back in the team, India would not risk going in with 5 specialist batsmen on a green/semi green track.

!

Well if he does scores then i will be more than happy at it.I don't dislike Ganguly, but the fact is that there are too many good batsmen in India and one has to be in his best of form to retain his place in the team.

Considering more than half the batsmen's task for India is done by Sehwag alone, why can't it be a battle b/w Akhtar and Sehwag then?

Lol I think Shewag clash would be Dani.

Idiot Moin

Read this.

Pakistanis have lost it. No better example than this.

Moin Khan expects others to be as (dis)honest as him or his teammates (read Rashid Latif).

ALso I think he has made a remark about Michael Kasprowicz.Well its not like he is a small player so Moin should have avoided such a remark on Kasper.

DOnt think Moin Khan has achieved anything in International Cricket to call Sachin tendulkar as a coward or call his carrear off.

Talk of Moin and honesty and I remeber a simple Hindi poetry :

Moin aur Imaandari
Kya baat hai SHrimaan
Jaise Sardaron ka Mohaalla
Aur Nai ki Dukaan.

Was Moin Khan the greatest player of quick bowling ever ?
I feel he is doing more harm than good for Pakistan`s chances because the Little Master responds to such comments with the bat .

I don`t think Moin knows what `Fair Play` is !
Sachin was being a good sportsman by walking but mere mortals like Moin will not understand the importance of such a gesture and he is labelling this gesture as Tendulkar being a coward and shying away from a contest.

Sachin Tendulkar is the last player to shy away from a contest.
I remember the so called `great` fast bowler in Shoaib looking listless after being taken for 18 runs of one over by Sachin and PaKistan being knocked out of the WC.
He has faced better fast bowlers than Shoaib in his career .
Sachin , afraid of fast bowling, what nonsense !!!!!
He scored a hundred at the WACA as a kid ! That tells it all

I think both of you are just wasting your time reading stuff like that. Moin Khan isnt even in the team now.

And his views do not reflect that of all Pakistanis.

Avoid making comments like these.

Like it is said, Moin Khan's comments shouldn't affect on how the opinions are of the Pakistani players and the normal Pakistani fans.

Anyway, the pitch looks promising for tomorrow. And from the last ten times eight times there has been a result in Karachi.

Moin Khan? The same guy who is now our third string wicket keeper? How the hell did he ever get a captain's job?

Crap! This guy Moin khan has trying to become a star ever since India landed on Pakistani soil for this current ongoing test series! He has been giving controversial comments on Ganguly and now on Tendulkar! Since both Ganguly and Tendulkar are not in their best of form, it sounds plainly an attempt by Moin Khan to gain personal mileage in the media by giving controversial statements about them!

Hope the grass is just levelled out and not shaved out! It should be levelled out to avoid any big help for the bowlers! We want an even contest between bat and ball. The ball shouldnt do too much for the bowler's liking. I think the team winning the toss would bowl first and take advantage of this track but there is a delayed start also tomorrow with the game starting at 10am local Pakistan time! So something to think abt for the two captains!

I feel India should take advantage of their victories against Pakistan in 2004. They won both games batting first. They do well bowling last on result oriented wickets! And Indian batting is always stronger than Pakistani batting! So even if the wicket is shaved off of grass, I think India stand a better chance of forcing a result if they bat first!

Time to tune in to Karachi! Hope we get a thrilling battle that salvages the series from being a total burn out!
