There is no doubt that was the greatest one day match ever, the atmosphere was amazing and really it was truly a pleasure to watch, despite Pakistan losing the match.
On a different note, if India don't pick Balaji and Zaheer for the tour to Pakistan, then, in my opinion, its a crime.

That is exactly what my Mom was saying today. Balaji and Khan have just lost their way in the Indian team. Zaheer Khan was also recently dropped from the top tier of the contract system.

Zaheer gave us a hard time in the ODIs last time around, and Balaji in tests, IIRC. I'm gonna vote for a 1-1 draw since both teams are at their best in a long time. But then again, seeing as how this is a Pak-India series, anything can happen.

What should India's bowling combination be looking like? India will probably be favorable towards playing 3 seamers and a spinner given the supposed condition of the pitches, but I still think playing the 2-2 combination may be more profitable depending on the fitness and success of our pace bowlers compared to our spinners.

I predict a 1-1 draw in the test series. Dont make me laugh Pakistan is going to win us 3-0, even the aussies cant beat us 3-0 at thier best on our current team.

**The pace attack will be lead by Pathan with Jaheer, R.P.,Shreesanth and Agarkar.

Agarkar is more of a odi bowler.......he might be useful in tests with the form he is in now........but I'd raher pick Balaji who did superb last time round or Zaheer.Bdw its " Zaheer ", not Jaheer.

Balaji is a yes........he done very well last time in Pakistan.......with bat aswell....remember those towering sixes of Akthar?.......Zaheer did cause some problems to the Pakistani team......and Zaheer has done well in the domestic circuit so Zaheer is also a yes......we need bowlers who are expierenced and done well agaisnt Pakistan and in Pakistan which are these two. I'd pick Kumble ahead of H singh, has the only spinner.

Ya, but Kumble and Bhajji both are genius.Determination of Kumble and spirit of Bhajji is a deadly combination.oh oh oh Pathan another firebrand from Ind,a match winner, he will be a major contributor in Indian victory in at least 1 or 2 matches.Pakistanis are on a roll too, it looks like another ashes is comming up shortly.

What a way to start off year 2006!, first kicking off the Pakistan vs India series, then the icc champions thropy, then ending with the ashes. I say its going to be another fanstastic year!.

My Pakistani mates think Indias gonna get whipped in the series, just becuase India dont have any fast bowlers who can bowl at express speeds, and the Pakistani bowlers are better then the current India bowlers. But Indias got the batting to top them!.
