Pakistan moving along at a nice run rate now. Though not in the range of 7-8 runs per over, but they are moving in the direction of a 300+ total. Harbhajan put the brakes in the scoring but still they are scoring at 5+ an over.

Pakistan have reached 157/4 after 26 overs. Pakistani batsmen seem to be shaping up MS Dhoni's career in the right track and they miss every time to see Dhoni stumping them. Inzamam has joined that bandwagon and charged at Kumble to see Dhoni stump him behind for 50. Anil Kumble with that wicket, has picked up 4 wickets to fall in this match. He has figures of 7-0-31-4

Some good sensible batting from Youhana and Younis Khan has taken Pakistan to 226/4 after 40 overs with 10 more overs to go! Youhana is not out on 68* and Younis Khan is not out on 28*. India did well to bring the run rate down further. Now the projected scores for Pakistan are
At 4 runs per over - 266
At 5 runs per over - 276
At 6 runs per over - 286
At 7 runs per over - 296
At 8 runs per over - 306
So, Pakistan should ideally score between 7 - 8 runs per over if they have to touch 300!

Pakistan should hit 290+ i hope they can get 300 but with India bowling a tight line and lenght anything can happen! Younis get out please! Send Afridi in with him in we can get 350+

sorry buddy!! I was to restrict pakistan for below 275 but once Younis Khan got out and Afridi came in, it was mayhem again! I am not able to break the code of getting Afridi out!

As the players are out of their changing rooms and getting ready to come onto the field, the BCCI have announced India's itineary after this soon becoming "epic" series against Pakistan!
India are first going to host Sri Lanka for 5 one day internationals. After this series, India will leave for New Zealand for a series of 5 ODI's and 3 test matches (warm up games included!). The team for the Sri Lanka ODI series and the first leg of the NZ tour (the ODI series) will be announced after the current series against Pakistan is over (The series will be played in this same thread)! Here are the fixtures
Warm Up Games not included! They will be played as CPU vs CPU as the scores will be posted here!

ha ha.. yes, but this time the updates and the playing time wont be as fast as this current series was played. i am on a spring break and so, i am playing this all day. once college starts on 28th, it wont be as faster a update as it is now! India off to a murderous start!
If anyone asks Sehwag to put a premium on his wicket, they would be the most foolish people in the world. This lad from Najafgarh is literaly taking Pakistan to the cleaners scoring 31 off 12 balls. Giving him good support is the Master batsman, Sachin Tendulkar with 15 off 12 balls. Sehwag is particularly in a savaging mood and if Pakistan doesnt get him, this match might well be over by the 40th over itself!
Note: As I said, I am not using the advance slog shots at all. Seems like batting on Hard wicket is a bit more easy!
PAKISTAN STRIKE TWO HUGE BLOWS!
Again, this match is taking a new turn! Shoaib Akthar has stuck two huge blows for India removing Sehwag and Ganguly. Sehwag who was smashing everyone, tried an unnecessary lofted straight down the ground shot but mistimed it to the mid off fielder who ran in to mid on and took the catch. The very next ball, ganguly looking to flick the ball down the leg side but the ball took the edge and crashed into the stumps. A huge boost for Pakistan as these two players are very dangerous ODI players. Dravid joins Tendulkar at the crease!
