I`ve been away for christmas and i`ve been watching this test on TV ( from england )

I knew after the first day`s play that we would get the comments about India being the best ect...

Well a test match is five days long

I WISH people could be OBJECTIVE about cricket in these forums...

you CAN`T say maggill is "poo"...He`s the second best leggie in the world(after warne)

Indias batting is a good line up but compare it to the aussies and you`ll see that they average just the same(and they don`t play on easy batting pitches)

Zaheer Khan is an AVERAGE bowler compared to a lot of pace bowlers in world cricket .

you win tests with bowlers everything else being equal

I would say that India are about third in the pecking order of world cricket in terms of pure talent(mostly batting),behind australia and south africa( a very balenced team)India`s bowling really lets tham down and their record away from home is appaling...they need to be consistant away to be thought of as a great side...

i wonder how many people have been WATCHING the tests??

sorry to rant but i feel people need to think before they are speaking...and i bet i get slagged of by a few "supporters" for this post
