Unbelievable stuff! Totally un'friggin'BELIEVABLE!!! India have started dictating terms in this test match, that too overseas, that too against the world No.1 side South Africa in their own backyard. Wow!! WOW!!

Superb stuff from Zak to come back today and rip off the tail. We got the last 4 wkts for pretty cheap and got a sizeable 36 run lead. And the way Pujara and Kohli are batting right now, a 400+ target looks very likely for South Africa (also considering that Morkel is said to be injured too). If India win this test, its going to spark off major celebrations. But I am not jumping ahead yet. I still want Pujara and Kohli to get their hundreds here and cement India's dominance. But India are stunning the world in Jo'burg!

Then you can't underrate brutal pace of Steyn and skills of Philander. Kohli and Pujara are coping with them very well and I am very much impressed with them. They were the one along with Rahane who looked comfortable in first innings. Good job.

Don't worry, you will have War coming at the end of the test match and saying India does not "deserve" 5 match test series against England.

We are being too harsh on War there. He is someone who loves test cricket in conditions that assist fast bowling and I`m sure he`d enjoy it even if an Indian side turns up in these conditions. I hope he does`nt bring up the 'SA did not field their best bowling attack, Tahir was the pressure release' excuse or Morkel`s injury.

Pujara you beauty! I have followed his career right from his early days for Saurashtra Ranji team and have always put his name forward as potential candidates for the national team few years back but wow! this is way better than my expectations. Average of 68 in 16 test matches is amazing irrespective of playing conditions. Very glad to watch two modern day youngsters with great record (Philander and Pujara) playing against each other in the same match.

Morne Morkel has a grade 1 ligament tear on his ankle and will be out for seven to ten days. He will not take the field for this game and his fitness might be in doubt for the next Test as well

I got a chance to meet Ishant the same day but couldn't recognize him and by the time i did he was already in his car. No a big loss though

P.S: He's a really down to earth, humble and polite guy. I just requested him once and without any hesitation he agreed and first shook hands before posing for the pic. And taller than i expected in real life. I'm 5'11.

they'll be feeling morkels absence now, the balls soft too, india should be targetting 140-0 this session which would effectively end the match. it's up to Steyn to step up and make something happen.
