Zaheer magic has Windes toiling
A fantastic devastating spell from Zaheer Khan saw India take charge in day 1 of the 2nd test in Mumbai , Rahul Dravid won the toss and put the tourists into bat and 57 overs later it was all over , mainly due to Zaheer Khan`s 5-17. Chris Gayle again failed only managing 10 falling to Patel , Wavell Hinds showed some resistance with a 58 but the rest of his team mates failed badly , Lara(8) , Chaderpaul(14) and Sarwan(18) all gone cheaply then enter Zaheer who removed Samuels,Baugh,Mohammed,Taylor and Collymore , Windies struggling along to 154 all out just before tea.
The Indian reply started solidly with Ganguly and Sehwag driving some good cover drives ,but on 18 Ganguly was fooled by a exellent yorker by Fidel Edwards ,Sachin Tendulkar came out to the crease and immediatly started going after Dave Mohammed ,but with 2 overs left in the day Tendulkar hit a full toss straight to Samuels at square leg , India finishing the day on 109-2.

Sehwag & Laxman pile misery on the Windies
India took full control of the 2nd test in Mumbai posting 362-6 when Rahul Dravid called Pathan & Harbhijan back to the dressing room , earlier in the morning Sehwag who resumed on 41 got to 99 before a miss timed shot had him lbw to Mohammed , VVS Laxman hit a wonderful 82 and a blistering quick fire 71 from MS Dhoni compunded the pressure on Lara and the Windies .
Worse was to follow , with a nervous 9 overs to face before close Zaheer Khan hero with the ball in the 1st innings had Wavell Hinds lbw for 8 ,Windies went in battered and bruised at 26/1.

India took just 3 days to claim the series , with one match still to play the Indians now take an unasailable 2-0 lead into the final test ,resuming on 26-1 the West Indies were in trouble from the off as Lara was out for a feeble 2 , Chris Gayle who also has been poor so far in the series put up a decent fight making 65 but when he and Chaderpaul(60) were both removed in sparked a disasterous collapse with man of the match Zaheer Khan coming back into the attack to claim 4-37 giving him match figures of 9-54 .
The West Indies will try and re group again for the 3rd test and hope to hit some form before the one-day internationals begin .
