Hey guys,

Henceforth after the gala performance(ie on monday)and b4 the results(on tuesday), we can all guess who could be in the bottom three and among them who might go out...the ones who are correct (in guessing the person who will be eliminated)shall be given reps by the other members who visit this thread...what say ?

My guess:

Bottom three:Ravi(though i thought he sang pretty well),Meenal and Anuj

Anuj will be elimintated

What time is it shown in India,it is about 1 am there at night now isn't it? In the UK, it is shown at 10 pm local time, that is 1 and a half hours from now. Just curious.

After its huge success last year Indian Idol has returned.
I don't know how many of u watch it..
But it will be good to know who is ur fav contestent and whom u guys will vote for..........

we have idol here in Australia aswell and i admitt the first show was good and it was good to see that the top 2 did well out of it. however i cant see how after australian idol 4 or 5 (whatever we are up to), that we are still picking the best in australia. for example the girl who won it last year didnt even make the top 50 the year before. this leaves me to wonder why the competition keeps running as we obviously arent getting the same high quality. but stupidly enough the kids out there vote and tv ratings stay up. im not an idol fan at all any more but i have alot of respect for kelly clarkson (USA winner #1) as she has cracked the australian market without any help from the tv show.

idol just appears to be an easy step into the music industry where others have had to work their hardest to get record labels while these "idols" merely are winning a competition against fellow competitors that they themselves couldnt reach the top 50 or whatever the year before

EDIT - Just to continue on with my ranting and raving. I am unsure about the rest of the world but in Australia the winner releases a single within the week of winning the competition. From the idols through the competition you hear nothing but how important and personal music is to them and how its a little part of them in every song. However the lyrics and music has allready been written for these artists and it is produced within 5 days.

It has been clear that all idol is is tv publicity and a guarenteed number 1 song in australia no matter how good the artist or the song is

Hey buddy you have posted this at 1:50 AM Indian time on Wednesday.But the show was already telecast on tuesday at 20:30 IST
