Said it before, say it again- MI problems are batting. FFS, I don't see the logic of Southee AND McCleneghan playing. I've not seen Parthiv Patel CONSISTENTLY perform at the top. Even if it's a flash in the pan, you want a flash that demolishes oppositions on their day. Can Parthiv do that? NO. Is there another WK that can take over? Yes, quite seamlessly. Their fascination with Pollard is also unreal. FFS, the guy is the highest paid foreigner. Yes, HIGHEST. More than a de Villiers and Gayle. The value? I'm sorry, he's no better that Corey Anderson and certainly not in the Buttler league.

The following would be my ideal MI line up-

He is the best replacement for Jadeja. Better with both bat and ball.

KP is out of the tournament. If you are sensible enough, you need to look into the domestic circuit and try to draft in a good Indian batsman into the team to replace KP. A "like for like" foreign replacement would be stupid and the wrong thing to do. Pune being light on Indian batsmen can address that concern before the tournament is over for them.

Good they are playing Albie today. Albie can give the lower order firepower and is far better than an Indian seamer when it comes to reliability.

Kohli chose to bat first because that pitch will get slower as game progresses. Even gavaskar said it. But the pitch just didn't change. kohli made the right decision to bat first even though rcb is good only in chasing.
Really feel for kohli. Even in Indian team he is facing the same problem and even in IPL he is facing the same problem. Contribute to the team and it goes in vain.

This IPL is proving that "a captain is only as good as his team". Pune look totally set to get the wooden spoon this IPL. They are in complete mess. The only guy who still makes me back them is MSD, but MSD's weird decisions have not helped at all. When the team is good, his wierd decisions don't make that much of an impact, but here its making a huge impact.
