So far, average work from CSK today on Day 2! Good that we got back Sam Curran and seems like Anshul Kamboj is an inspired pick and he might have to be played since for the Powerplay, CSK has stacked up on ALL left arm seamers in Khaleel, Curran, Mukesh Chaudhary.

Good that they got Hooda! Now Vijay Shankar is likely going to be a passenger at CSK since Hooda is a better hitter and a valuable off spinner. Can't see backups for Pathirana and reputable Powrerplay bowlers. Over-reliance on spin with a changing Chepauk pitch can be tricky.

I'm at the point where I still don't understand crores and lakh but I get them enough to know what's a lot and what's not. At the point where I find it easier to understand than dollars in the price options on Cricinfo.

IIRC, he has played at U19 (possibly domestic) level too but yes you are right. He cannot be facing the Bumrahs, the Rabadas, the Nortjes, the Shamis et al

Lakh is a hundred thousand and a crore is 10 million. Obviously the amount would be in INR so you would have to convert to whatever your nation's currency is.

It's kinda surprising he is not in the scheme of things coz as per cricinfo GT have filled only 4 out 8 available slots for overseas players. They could have easily accommodated him.
