He is the captain with Malinga being the vice-captain. Chandimal is a brilliant batsman to in ODI so it is a bit harsh to compare him to Sammy but I just don't know if he will be able to do the same with his T20 game. He is averaging 15 in international T20 games.

What exactly do you expect from your #7 wicket-keeper/batsman? Like seriously, the guy averages 39 with the bat, some of the greatest wicket-keepers can't say that for themselves.

Look here, not every wicket-keeper/batsman has to be as good as Adam Gilchrist or Matt Prior, they're the best of their era for a reason, being 3/4th the player as them is good enough. Understand that.

A lot. He was undoubtedly the finest batsman the world saw in the previous decade. Yes, he is out of form now but that doesn't overshadow his great work.
