Akhtar Strikes With Two Wkts
( Dhoni and Powar Out, India in Pressure )​

Well, Inzi decided to operate last five overs with Akhtar and Gul. Akhtar was given 46th over to bowl and Dhoni was in strikers end. The field set was very wide spread for Dhoni making sure that boundaries are reduced.

Dhoni, Akhtar's First Victim

Dhoni was very much tempted further after seeing the widespread field. He wanted to hit the sixes especially in the area where the fielders are standing. Akhtar delivered a quick ball to Dhoni... Dhoni attempted an huge shot by a huge swing of his bat, but unluckily, he missed the line of the ball that resulted in the huge miss of the contact of ball with bat, making the ball to strike the stumps.

Dhoni was not able to believe it that he missed the ball. Akhtar was delighted and exchanged few words with Dhoni that frustrated Dhoni even further. But its over, he made his way back to pavilion with huge disappointments. All Indian fans have gone to silence. Indian coach was very silently staring at the ground but tension was very obvious in his face. Its same in the Pakistan dressing room but little delighted becos big man,Dhoni is out. The entire Pakistan team celebrated this wicket!

If the ball have made an contact there, it seemed that it wud have gone out of the stadium. But Dhoni was very unlucky there to miss the line. The new Batsman, Powar replaced Dhoni at the crease.

Powar Dismissed in First Ball

With Powar at the crease, Tendulkar had few words with him wanting a single to take the strike. Tendulkar has become a silent player for many overs becos of the fireworks from Yuvraj and Dhoni. But now, the whole responsibilty falls on this tired man.

Powar faced the ball from Akhtar. The width was provided and Powar tried to go over covers for taking single but the ball travelled in air and went straight to the fielder, Gul standing there. It turned out to be a simple catch in the end. Tendulkar got frustrated with this soft dismissal of Powar and threw his bat away! While, Powar walked back with heads down. Almost all the players in the dressing room have started biting their nails. The disappointments are seen among spectators also.

Akhtar was delighted to strike two in a row and was celebrating the wicket with his team mates. Ajit Agarkar replaced Powar and prevented the hat trick by taking a double. Agarkar was able to give strike to Tendulkar in the fifth delivery while Sachin took single inturn to keep himself on strike.

Well, This over of Akhtar brought the lives of Pakistan spectators back. Only hope for India is "Tired" Tendulkar. If Pakistan bowlers can keep him off the strike, then there is a huge chance for them to make this match! According to Indian fans, Its Tendulkar Vs Pakistan now!

( Tendulkar Battles with Handy support of Agarkar )​

With two wickets in an over and huge pressure on Tendulkar, Gul and Akhtar continued to bowl. Inzi still maintained the defensive field for Sachin Tendulkar.

Tendulkar handled the pressure very well. He took the pressure off by getting a massive six of Gul. This six brought the Indian spectators to stand and jump again. Inzi was frustrated though. Tendulkar and Agarkar rotated singles to keep the required rate in control.

Akhtar bowled an excellent next over, but still, Agarkar was able to score handy runs including a four in that over. Inzi was expecting Ajit to go for silly shots and get out but Agarkar was watchful ensuring a support to the Master in other end.

Gul's next over started again horribly with the superb straight drive four. Well, its Tendulkar's favourite shot too, i.e playing straight making the ball to go near stumps for a straight four. The Crowd was excited a lots and also players from Indian dressing room were also cheering him. Also, Tendulkar reached 150 with the single in last ball. But he didnt raise his bat this time, as tension existed still within him.

well, 49 Overs ended. With One over remaining, India needed 7 runs to win.

* India's only hope is, Tendulkar is on strike.
* Pakistan's only hope is, Akhtar is ready to bowl the last over of the match.

Well, Indian spectators are just shouting " Sachin! Sachin!! Sachin!!! " and tension seen in both the dressing rooms as the match has reached the final stage.

Ball 1 :- Akhtar delivered an quick bouncer, which Sachin tried to play an late cut but it went straight to the fielder. So No runs came from the first ball.

Ball 2 :- Tendulkar played an lovely leg glance and the ball went straight to Afridi standing there. Due to Massive pressure, Afridi misfielded and the ball went for Four!

Inzi was frustrated with Afridi..Akhtar was disappointed. This brought the situation to 3 Runs from 4 Balls. With one boundary now, India wud make it. Inzi immediately adjusted the fielding and had few words with Akhtar also.

Huge Blow:- Tendulkar Departed!

Ball 3 :-Akhtar once again delivered an quick bouncer, Tendulkar attempted an cheeky shot to pick the gap for four but unfortunately, the ball went in air and Asif made an excellent dive in front managing to get hold of the ball. This resulted in an excellent catch dismissing the main dangerman of India!

Tendulkar stared at his bat as he was trying to play in the gaps but unfortunately ball went in air. Akhtar once again striked for Pakistan taking an important wicket.

Well, Tendulkar walked back to pavilion leaving the situation as, India needing 3 Runs from 3 Balls. Crowd gave him an standing applauses for his excellent innings. What an innings this has been! Well done Tendulkar Kumble replaced Sachin and is on strike to face Akhtar.

With Kumble on strike, Inzi placed most of the fielders on inner circle and some fielders near the boundary to prevent the handy fours. Tension existed on both the teams. Also both the team's coaches doesnt want to watch the last minute tension as they wanted to know the result directly. Everyone have stood up from the seats waiting for the result!

Ball 4 :- Akhtar attempted an yorker and Kumble had no way rather than defending it. He defended well infact.... that too under pressure, its tough for tail enders to bat. So No runs came from the fourth ball which applied more pressure on India as every dot ball counts!

Kumble Gives Strike To Agarkar

Ball 5 :- Akhtar bowled around off stump line and Kumble got an handy edge that allowed him to take only one run.

This brings Ajit Agarkar on strike and now pressure has increased further on both the teams. With one ball remaining, Inzi has to set the field properly. Coaches are not able to wait for the result... Many spectators in the stadium are already having their hands in their mouth staring at the ground waiting for the result. Some fans have started praying for their teams.

Agarkar Finishes In Style
( News Flash: India wins The Close Battle by Six from LastBall )​

Akhtar delivered an Yorker which turned out as a low full toss and Agarkar just tried to go over the top of the fielders in inner circle. This infact made the ball to travel in air flat and had enough distance to strike the grills near the boundary rope which resulted in a flat six!

Akhtar was speechless staring at the ground and Inzi was looking at the sky with frustration. Pakistan coach turned sad with disappointed and shcoked all Pakistan fans. While, Agarkar was delighted and was jumping over Kumble to celebrate this victory! All the players from Indian dressing room started jumping and all Indian fans started the fireworks that turned out beautifully in sky!

Well, also a thing to note in the final delivery is, Akhtar did the same mistake what Malinga did against NewZealand and the result is same bringing opposition to Victory! Here, Akhtar's attempt of yorker made the opponent India to win while Malinga's attempt of yorker in last ball made the opponent NewZealand win!

Well, Indian players after sometime of celebration, exchanged warm handshakes with the Pakistan players and also with the umpires. The players started leaving the field. Also, both the teams fought till the last second and in the end, India managed to win this close battle by 3 wickets.
