Oh there is no need to worry.
Its Mohali;the pitch is always like that.I believe a score of around 230 will be good enough for the Kiwis.
But its a game of cricket, one never knows what will happen next.

End Of 15 Overs
( Mortaza Alone Impressive, Astle Takes the Control )

With great start provided by Mortaza, Ashraful attacked both the batsmen a bit more with two slips. Kiwis skipper was very clear not to throw away the wicket. Meanwhile,Astle after some patience against Mortaza, went over Hossain. Hossain once again struggled with his line and length but Mortaza in other end looked to be a major threaten to both the batsmen.

Easy Chance Dropped!

( Mortaza got Frustrated )

catchdropped6bj.jpg

Mortaza continued his excellent form and was trying to trouble the batsmen every ball he was bowling. Fleming was the most uncomfortable. Astle, as he is one of the attacking player, wasn't able to maintain the patience against Mortaza.. In one of deliveries of Mortaza, Astle had a thick edge that was carrying to the second slip,Bashar. And it was shocking that Bashar dropped an easy catch. Mortaza can't believe this & got very much frustrated also.

Ashraful was not happy with Bashar but as a skipper he was only able to encourage both the fielder and the bowler. Fleming was also decieved many times against Mortaza.

Astle & Fleming, Trying To Restore the Balance!

In other end, Hossain was having a horrible spell especially against Astle. Astle smashed a huge six and two fours consecutively in the same over of Hossain. Inspite of this huge over, Ashraful had some faith in Hossain and allowed to bowl five overs but was not at all effective giving away 37 Runs in his 5 Overs.

Also, Fleming and Astle seemed to be settled now and just trying to accelerate the scorecard. Fleming got some useful boundaries too. Ashraful stopped Mortaza after his long spell of 6 Overs. He brought Aftab and Razzak into the attack. These two have just bowled two overs each and Kiwis remained unaffected by the bowling change. Astle continued the attacking mood towards Aftab also.

Well, 15 Overs ended, Kiwis have recovered well after the struggle in first five overs. Astle looks very confident and Fleming looking solid.. Bangladesh are eagerly waiting for the batsmen to commit mistakes. In bowling, Mortaza alone impressed everyone. But still a long way to go!

For Kiwis, this partnership is crucial and had to continue atleast for ten more overs to get themselves in good position.

For Bangladesh, all they need is couple of quick wickets which wud apply pressure back to Kiwis.

NewZealand :- 70/1(15)
S.Fleming : 27*(38)
N.Astle : 37*(40)

Astle Looking Dangerous who was dropped earlier by Bashar!

Bashar! No!! You have just dropped the match!
Hossain has been poor this whole series. Bring Aftab into the attack now...

Astle Dismissed by Razzak!
( Atlast a breakthrough for Bangladesh )

astleout6gm.jpg

Astle and Fleming seemed to take the control away from Bangladesh. Ashraful was busily working with his fielders and his bowlers needing a bad breakthrough. Aftab and Razzak were operated after Mortaza & Hossain. Aftab was getting some movement of the ball but both the batsmen were watchful enough to play.

Atlast, Razzak striked for Bangladesh with the wicket of Astle who looked to be more dangerous! Razzak was switching the angles and tried to do something different. In one of the deliveries, Astle attempted to sweep the normal delivery of Razzak. Due to the improper timing, Astle was decieved and missed the ball completely. There was a huge shout from the bowler and the keeper... Umpire raised his hands without any hesitation putting an end to threatening innings of Astle.

Razzak was delighted and Ashraful & his team celebrated this wicket with huge joy and happiness as this was the huge blow for NewZealand. Astle has the capability to score runs quickly which he was doing already but loosing him in this stage is what NewZealand doesn't want to happen! But its over.. Astle started walking towards the dressing room and Marshall, who was the match winner in last game, replaced Astle at the crease.

Well, 20 Overs ended, Bangladesh was able to break this good partnership. Ashraful must be looking to utilise this break with some more wickets. While, Kiwis wud be looking for another partnership... Fleming already settled in.. Marshall shd be having lots of confidence becos of the last game...So still a lots of work to do for both the teams! :)

NewZealand :- 89/2(20)
S.Fleming : 40*(58)
H.Marshall : 0*(4)

Astle : 40(46) Dismissed by Razzak.
Mortaza : 6O - 3M - 10R - 1W

Astle was a key player. i did not trust Marshall . God knows what he will do Tonight?
