Welcome back to M.A.Chidambaram Stadium for the second session of the semi finals of this Champions Trophy LIVE from Chennai. WestIndies need to chase a massive total of 342 to qualify for the finals!

Well, both the umpires walked to the field & Indian players followed the umpires! There was a huge roar from the crowd when Indian players came out of the dressing room. The crowd has been excellent today.

Well, Indian skipper, Rahul Dravid as soon as he came to the field started working with his fielders. Dravid handled the new ball to Zaheer Khan and was having a discussion with the bowler to set the fielding! Sehwag & Tendulkar were also seen in discussion!

Finally, WestIndies openers, Gayle & Ramdin came out of the dressing room with huge pressure mounted on them. The opening partnership is always crucial for any ODIs and that too in this situation, Windies need a great start to stay in this game. Windies fans, inspite of disappointments with their bowlers, started to cheer their batsmen with the non-stop music! Overall, everyone are eagerly waiting for this session to get started!

Well, Windies chase is just about to start. Zaheer Khan is waiting for the Umpire to say " Start " after which all the actions wud get started. Windies need an flying start & India need quick wickets.... So the contest is still ON!

Chase Begins!
( Zaheer being Smashed for Plenty by Gayle & Ramdin )​

Well, With all set ready, Umpires asked Zaheer to Proceed and huge huge roar from the crowd as Zaheer started his runner up!

In very first ball, Gayle smashed an huge six which brought all the Indian fans to silence! Suddenly huge roar vanished and only music by Windies was heard and they were more delighted to see this first ball six! Zaheer got frustrated in very first ball but Dravid went immediately and had words with him.

What a welcome by Gayle to Zaheer who came back to the team after a long time!

It was a great first over for Windies. Agarkar shared the new ball with Zaheer. To everyone's suprise, Ramdin also looked confident in playing shots. He was expected to play a supportive role but he also went over the bowlers trying to play some big shots. Boundaries started coming from both the batsmen and Zaheer was the most affected than Ajit! Sachin was found on the field shouting to Zaheer suggesting something.

The problem with the fielders continues even in Indian Innings. It seems that it was the fast outfield which makes the fielders to struggle more! But Dravid kept on encouraging his fielders. Also, he changed the field slightly..Initially he attacked both the batsmen with two slips & now after this aggressive start, one of the slips have been removed.

Well, just 6 Overs ended & the way Windies have started responding seems to bring them on right track. Zaheer was smashed for 25 Runs in just 3 Overs. Dravid is likely to stop him at the moment. Also the scoring rate of Windies is already 8 runs per Over and they just need to carry on this momentum to stay in the game while, India wud be looking for the quick wickets especially Gayle within first 15 Overs. Still a long way to go for both the teams
