YEA Sachin, i think the spin bowlers will be able to pick up wickets and slow down the scoring rate now

Great bowling by Sachin. Let's hope that a few more wickets fall soon. Great presentation Suren. Keep it up.

Can't wait for the next update Suren, see if Sachin gets any more wickets :p

Windies In Deep Trouble!
( Both Lara & Chanderpaul Departed )

Well, with runs coming slower for Windies, Dravid was very much contented to operate with spinners. He maintained Tendulkar in one end and introduced Kumble in other end. Tendulkar was looking extremely well with the ball mixing up the offbreaks & legbreaks & straight ones and decieved the batsmen on several occassions. It was Tendulkar who striked once again with the major wicket of Windies skipper, Lara which was the huge huge blow for WestIndies.

Brian Lara, Victim of Tendulkar!

The great thing that suited Tendulkar well was, getting lot of turn on this pitch. This convinced Dravid a lot and was hoping for more wickets from the Master.

Sachin, in one of the deliveries to Lara, pitched the ball around offstump and it got a huge turn and decieved Lara's bat while attempting to sweep & ball striked the legstumps  What a huge turn it was... Lara just stood confused! :p

The commentator immediately made his comments,
commentator said:
What a delivery, Shane Warne would be proud of that one!! :D

Well, Tendulkar was delighted a lot. Dravid was running towards the Master and lifted him with huge amount of happiness as Lara is an vital wicket needed for India and Sachin has done that! Lara was staring at Tendulkar in a strange way before making his way to the dressing room. All windies fans are shocked to see Lara going in this stage... becos Windies needed a lot from him & now its almost like their spine broken!

Sarwan replaced Windies skipper at the crease and the pressure on Windies was massive. Dravid immediately changed an attacking field to utilise this pressure.

Chanderpaul Follows His Captain!

Plenty of Suprises are taking place with Indian bowling. With Tendulkar getting a wicket of a huge turn, and now Kumble getting a wicket of short pitched delivery! Kumble striked very next over after Lara departed. Another blow for Windies...Chanderpaul throws his wicket away to Kumble.

Kumble delivered an short pitched delivery which Chanderpaul tried to pull it away but the timing of the shot was not proper... It led to an thick inside edge.. The ball striked the lower part of the stumps after hitting edge of the bat.. Its an very silly attempt of Chandepaul considering the situation. It was a sacrifice for nothing infact.

The frustrations are seen in Windies dressing room as well as with Chanderpaul. He walked back to the dressing room with head down. India getting stronger & stronger with regular wickets and once again the team was brought together for celebrations. Bravo replaced Chanderpaul at the crease. Most of the Windies fans lost hope in their team winning!

After quick wickets, Sarwan & Bravo decided to carry on without taking risks... Their intension of playing full 50 Overs to avoid further collapse was very clear.. Both the batsmen kept on rotating strikes and scored couple of boundaries too which also just kept scoreboard moving.

Well 30 Overs ended & India is in commanding position having picked major 5 wickets. Almost the hopes on Windies victory is lost as their required rate is massive considering the wickets in hand... All they are hoping at the moment is to keep scorecard moving and try in last overs.. While, Dravid, who has been happy with his bowlers, wud just be contented to contain runs! This time, lot and lots of work for Windies as the game has currently in India's hands! :)

WestIndies :- 162/5(30)
D.Bravo : 20*(24)
R.Sarwan : 23*(23)

S.Chanderpaul : 18(25) Dismissed by Kumble.
