( Windies survived till end but nowhere near Target )​

Well, with just 3 Wickets remaining for Windies, all Indian spectators expected to finish the Windies innings off soon and were very eager to see the victory. But Dravid's tactics made everyone to be suprised... Well, it might be called as experimentation rather than tactics Dravid was happily experimenting with his bowlers.. He mixed Sehwag, Sourav, Sreesanth, Ajit, Kumble and even himself on in last 10 Overs which made Windies batsmen to survive till the end. Only Yuvraj & Dhoni were not given the ball but rest of the team did bowl.

Banks Dismissed by Agarkar!

Both Bradshaw & Banks were just enjoying their stay & experimentation of Dravid. Both the batsmen are very much contented to defend the deliveries and take singles. Banks, after settling in, started to free his arms attempting big shots. He got couple of boundaries and it seemed that these two batsmen wud take the Windies side to 50 overs. Agarkar atlast brought the breakthrough for India with the wicket of Banks!

In one of the deliveries of Ajit, Banks attempted to play an aggressive shot in offside but it went in air very high & safely found the fielder, Sreesanth near the boundary! Ajit got his first wicket and the celebration of Indian team continued & they were infact looking to finish off the 50 Overs soon as Windies were nowhere near the target. Collymore came to the crease replacing Banks & it was 49th Over. Collymore played couple of aggressive shots in last two balls of Agarkar which resulted in boundaries.

Final Over & Victory for India!

With one over left & impossible task for Windies, Dravid still wanted to experiment in last over. The experimentations have reached to an extreme extent that he brought himself into the bowling :rtfl Dravid had a defensive field & he started his spell. Infact Dravid had a good over through out.. he was bowling straight & after playing some defensive strokes, Bradshaw gave strike to Collymore. Collymore was in nice mood that he went after Dravid for a one bounce four.

In last ball, Collymore once again tried to be aggressive but was caught in the end which produced a wicket for Dravid..... Unbelievable Experimentation! This brings the victory for Indians which progresses them to the Grand Finals of This Champions Trophy!

Dravid & his team were happy and celebrated this victory with huge amount of joy & excitements. After sometime, both the teams exchanged warm handshakes & also exchanged handshakes with the umpires.... With a proud feeling, Indians left the field. But Windies dressing room was filled with disappointments as they were hoping for back to back titles!

Well thats lot of bowling from India.. 9 bowlers with only Yuvi & Dhoni left! It seemed that Dravid wanted his players to get some practice after knowing the situation which was very well out of reach for Windies.

For Windies, no batsmen tried to utilise their starts to big ones which was a major drawback.

FireWorks All Over Chennai!

As soon as India won, the crackers exploded all over the skies in Chennai. It was a huge celebration after knowing that their home team has reached the grand finals of this Champions Trophy! The things looked almost like a Diwali day around the stadium! All Indian fans were uncontrollable with huge excitements.
