Windies have their half of its team in the pavilion... So the small of hope of taking the match to draw was possible with Sarwan at the crease!!! Sarwan was doing the same job expected!!! At the same time, he also smashed a couple of boundaries of the bad line!!!

Lot of reponsibility was mounted on lonely left Sarwan!!! He was trying at his level best and looked very positive inspite of being left alone without support!!! Ramdin at the other end ws extremely struggling with his footwork and never looked comfortable from the first ball!!!

Dravid as usual was shuffling the bowlers, but this time kept Sachin at one end constantly bowling and tried Munaf and Kumble in the other end... Munaf was bowling to Ramdin.

Munaf Patel was enjoying his bowling right from the start... He was mixing his deliveries very well... Apart form this variety, he shuffled the speed very cunningly!!!

Ramdin who was already not comfortable with the footwork struggled more against Munaf!!! Munaf bowled a beautiful inswinging delivery and Ramdin was decieved of the swing completly... The ball lightly touched the pads and hit the offstump!!!

Ramdin was disappointed and the entire Indian team celebrated the wicket!!! Windies coach's face looked extremely disappointed and he was wondering about the poor ressistance displayed by his team... Even Windies fans are quiet now and many people started leaving the ground too!!!

Sarwan is almost clueless of saving Windies now.... He needs a support from other end... Sarwan has to do some miracle now to save windies!!! He had saved many matches for Windies... With the wicket of Ramdin, the pressure has mounted a lot on Sarwan... He really needs some partner like Agarkar(2nd innings of India) to take the match to draw!!! But nothing working correctly at the moment for Windies!!!

smith0pz.jpg

Smith is the new batsman at the crease replacing Ramdin!!! Well, he has a century for his name, but this situation is a real test for him as the pressure in the middle is more.... Sarwan explained the strategy clearly to Smith to be rooted at the crease!!!

WI : 123/6 ( 58 Overs, 11:52am, Day5 )

Sarwan --- 11*(35)

Need 286 Runs to Win.

While the match was complete in control for India, the weather played a sudden role in the match!!!

When the match was progressing, the sky darkened all of a sudden and there were drops of water coming down but the play continued as it did not produce much impact and seemed to clear off soon!!!

But all of a sudden there were heavy showers for some minutes and then slowed down now... and the umpires took the bails off and sent the players in!!! And the covers were called!!!

The actions for covering the pitch is currently in process!!! All the players went in!!!

In Windies dressing room, some amount of happiness is seen... But the weather is likely to clear off soon !!! Dravid's face is tensed as he doesnt want to slip this easy match from their hands!!!:upray

WI : 142/6 ( 68 Overs, 12:30 pm, Day 5 )

Sarwan --- 12*(70)
Smith --- 9*(26)

Need 266 Runs to win.

The Next inspection on the pitch will be after 15 minutes!!!!

I don't beleive the rain can save the Windies. 266 runs on the final day is a big ask so I see India taking out the win.
Brilliant presentation and comprehensive content surendar.

LIVE
INSPECTION AT 12:45pm

Welcum back!!!You are watching the Day5 of the first test between India and WestIndies.... Well the match was interrupted due to rain!!! Both the umpires went to the pitch and inspected the conditions there!!!

THE UMPIRES IN THE MIDDLE INSPECTING THE CONDITIONS!!!

inspection7nl.jpg

Still, there are slight showers.... But the sky is little bit clear than before!!! So the play will be starting soon.... And the teams can have lunch now till the usual end time(of lunch)!!!

--- Billy and Bucknor.

As a result, early lunch has been taken now!!! But the play might resume at usual end of lunch time depending on the conditions!!! This is a good news to Indian team!!! But if the showers get heavy, Windies might be rescued by the rain.... So Dravid is still tensed as they do not want to loose this golden opportunity!!!

We will be back to u again LIVE at 1:40 pm!!!

WI : 142/6 ( Lunch,Day5 )

Nice use a photoshopping there, just don't go too OTT on it.

India should win this one - I reckon that Munaf will skittle him out.
