Wow great game, and a bowl-out seems the fair thing to seperate these two teams.
I imagine Suren will just bowl in a normal game and remove the batsman and use just the pitch and the ball. Suren's a master at this sort of thing so I expect it to be quality as usual. Keep it up Suren
India In SouthAfrica IndiaVs SouthAfrica Twenty20 Match,Johannesburg. Bowl-Out, The Match Decider.
Hosts Outsmarted by Visitors! ( Dominating Bowl-out Performance from India )
Well, with the "bowl-out" to decide the winner of this great Twenty20 match, players of both the sides came to the field and were waiting for the umpire's signal to start the bowl-out. Both the captains got clear instructions from the umpires and they(captains) in turn conveyed those instructions to their teams respectively. Spectators were also excited very much and waiting for the climax.
Ball 1 :- Sehwag Vs Botha.
After having some brief discussion, Dhoni handled the ball to Sehwag. It suprised everyone in the spectator side. Indian skipper cheered his bowler and went running to stand behind the stumps. There was a huge shout too, " Com'on Viru!". Umpire asked Sehwag to proceeed. Smith and his team were also watching this eagerly.
Sehwag started his runner up and bowled his first delivery. It was a arm ball. Ball was pitched around the off-stumps. It looked for a moment like, it's going to go past the off stumps. But, fortunately, ball went straight knocking the off stumps OFF & removing the bails. Dhoni was delighted.. Sehwag was excited.. Indian team looked happy.. & Indian spectators were jumping from their seats out of excitement.
This very good start from Indian side gave a alert signal to SouthAfrican skipper. Smith, like Indian skipper, gave the ball to Botha. He(Smith) felt that it would be safe to start this bowl out with spinner. But the things didn't work out for SouthAfrica.
Botha tossed the ball slightly up like a normal offspin and hence, there was some good turn of the ball after pitching. As a result, ball went past the leg stumps straight to Boucher. Smith got disappointed. SA's coach was seen even more frustrated as everyone(SA team) were expecting a straight ball from Botha.
Situation of this Bowl-Out became, Ind(1) : (0)SA.
Ball 2 :- Murali Karthik Vs Pollock.
Following Sehwag's success, Dhoni was very much contented to give the ball once again to the spinner. This time, it was Murali Karthik. Dhoni was once again found giving encouragements to his bowler as the captain was very particular in utilizing the good start they(Ind) got in this bowl out.
Bowler fulfilled his captain's hopes too. It was once again a straight delivery from the spinner. Ball, after pitching, went quick towards the stumps and removed the bails off. Indian skipper was further more delighted in getting 2/2 in this bowl out. This increased the frustrations for Smith though.
For SA, Pollock took the responsibility for this second chance. Experienced/Cunning Pollock raised the hopes of his team. Bowler was bang on target in hitting the middle stumps. It was 100% accurate straight delivery which managed to hit the middle stumps cleanly. Wise Pollock received applauses from his captain and his team.
This took the situation to Ind(2) : (1)SA.
Ball 3 :- Zaheer Khan Vs J.Kallis.
Next bowler for India was Zaheer Khan. After the success of Indian spinners, everyone expected Yuvraj to continue but Dhoni once again, suprised everyone. Zaheer delivered his first ball aiming at the middle stumps like what Pollock did in last ball. Ball pitched around middle stumps but got a good swing to leg stumps. Still, it managed to hit the stumps and bails came flying out. So, this brought the third consecutive success for India in this bowl out and added a massive pressure to SouthAfrican side.
Smith gave the ball to Kallis and gave some instruction to his bowler. Unfortunately, Kallis disappointed his team. He(Kallis) was aiming for a yorker to get rid of the middle stumps. But yorker attempt turned out to be unsuccessful. Ball went towards the leg stumps and missed it completely. Boucher was only able to collect the delivery from behing. Frustrations increased for Smith and his team. :
And, the Situation took India to driver's seat, Ind(3) : (1)SA.
Ball 4 :- Sreesanth Finishing The Things Off!
Only thing that Smith could hope is, India has to miss the upcoming chances in this bowl-out because, India is already comfortable with 3 Hits. One more hit will take the team(India) to victory. Sreesanth was given the ball. Indian spectators were completely in extreme levels of excitement. They were all jumping from their seats supporting this Indian team.
Sreesanth, though looked like over-doing the things for pace, somehow managed to knock off the leg stumps. As soon as the bails got dislodged, Indian players started jumping and were celebrating this unforgettable victory. Dhoni got excited to the core. The entire Indian team continued to celebrate this victory. Soon after, players started to leave the field after giving warm handshakes to opponents and umpires.
Final Situation appeared to be, Ind(4) : (1)SA.
So, finally, after a great fight, the visitors managed to produce a surprising win over the hosts,SA. After a dominating part played by SA in the initial stages, it was Rohit & Yuvraj who fought and took their team to a great TIE. And in Bowl-out, India completely dominated its opponent,SA by hitting all the 4 from 4. Its not only a thrilling win to India but, it's also a first win from the first game for India. What a way to start this Twenty20 format for Indian team! Stay Tuned to find out more on the Presentation Ceremony!
