Yes, I am playing as India which is obvious from the thread title. :)

SUREN, YOU WHORE!! :D

How can you keep us waiting? I hate you... :P

still waiting. it's like waiting for a bus

*waits waits*
:p

more like waiting for a date of a particular event

Sorry, sorry, sorry for making members to wait for the climax. I didn't find time in weekdays as you all are well aware that work(in my company) is ruining me right from the time I entered this corporate world. :mad

Love the suspence! What patches and roster are you using, great gameplay

Thank you :) Roster is same as the one which supports bat/face pack V2. And regarding Patches, I used Tutsi for tests. And without any AI patch for this current T20 match. :)

:happy Thank you everyone for the wonderful comments and views :happy
Updates coming soon....

India In SouthAfrica
India Vs SouthAfrica

Twenty20 Match,Johannesburg.
End of 20 Overs, 2nd Innings.

Match Ending in a Thrilling Tie!
( Bowl-Out to Decide the Match Winner )

Well, with just one ball left in this game and India needing three runs to win, South African skipper was having serious discussion with his bowler and other fielders. Meanwhile, Sharma got some message from dressing room through a player bringing water bottle for Sharma. Tension and excitements were widespread. Smith's field set was defensive as his main intention was to avoid boundaries.

Steyn's Last Delivery!

lastballfl6.jpg

Steyn, with huge pressure, started his runner up to deliver the final match deciding delivery. At first, he came running till the stumps and stopped from delivering the ball as something distracted him. Or may be, he should have been equipped with massive pressure too. Once again, Steyn went back to his position and started his runner up again.

This time, with huge pressure, Steyn delivered that final ball. It was pitched around off stumps and got some extra bounce after pitching. It was a very good attempted bouncer and Sharma was expected to go for a pull shot.. But with less time to react, Sharma, in dual mind, played in off side.

Infact, the ball went in gaps and all the Indian spectators started to stand and were eagerly keeping their eyes on the boundary. Its to be noted that ball was travelling quickly towards the ropes. At the same time, South African skipper, in the last second, managed to stop the ball with his foot and thereby preventing the boundary.

Smith Saving the Boundary & Match.

Immediately, Smith collected the ball and made a clear throw at Boucher. Meanwhile, Sharma was just coming back to the keeper's end during his second run. Throw came to Boucher and Sharma dived to reach the line in same time. Boucher desperately collected the ball and removed the bails and huge shout went up for the run out.

But Sharma seemed to have no problems in reaching the crease. Umpire turned down the appeal. Spectators expected this pair to pick three runs but unfortunately, there was some slow running between the wickets.

Smith, though saved the match from going in favour of the visitors, was disappointed a bit. South Africa were in complete control almost throughout this match. But it was a great fight back from Yuvraj and Sharma in the end to take India atleast to a Tie.

Sharma's Time To React for the Last Ball.

Action Replay - 1.

It was obvious from the replay that, Sharma had very little time(0.71s) to react while facing that last match deciding delivery. Bowler managed to get some extra bounce and pace after pitching which tricked Sharma to go in dual mind. i.e whether to go for a pull shot or put it away in cheeky style.

However, Sharma managed to get clean contact in that last shot. Had he gone for a pull shot, there would have been a chance to get the leading edge as well because of that extra bounce/pace. Sharma's dynamic reaction to the last delivery favoured his team(India) to tie this match. The dressing room of both the sides still look tensed.

Comparison of Steyn's Last Two Deliveries.

Action Replay - 2.

Apart from that extra pace, Steyn also cleverly adjusted his length. After his previous ball, which was smashed for four, the bowler just pitched the delivery well before the previously pitched area. This further added to the Sharma's confusion. Tension and confusions always rise when batsmen go into dual mind before playing the shot. Sharma, on this occasion managed it well.

Variation of Pace and line/length is always important for any bowler to win the mind battle against any batsman. ;) So, the match thus ended in a tie. Players after exchanging the warm handshakes walked back to dressing room and they had to return back immediately for the " Bowl-Out" which is used to decide the winner in Twenty20s incase of a Tie.

Sharma Vs SouthAfrica.

sharmawagonwheells0.jpg

Rohit Sharma, Who became the hero of his match, faced only ten deliveries for his quick 32 runs. Also, its to be noted that this is only a debut match for Sharma and he(Sharma) has done something special now(in guiding his team to a tie) and hence making his debut as one of the unforgettable debuts in Indian cricket history.

Though he faced just ten deliveries, Sharma's scoring rate was all over the ground. He went after the bowlers irrespective of the line/length. Last over of Steyn, in particular, had become the turning point of this game where 22 runs came in that last over. At one stage, it looked impossible for India to reach the target but in the end, they(India) suprised everyone.

Steyn Vs India.

finaloverplotpg8.jpg

Steyn, who appeared to be very impressive in his first spell, failed to continue the same in his last spell. Though the bowler tried his best in varying the line and length and pace, batsman(Sharma) clearly had outsmarted the bowler.

Inspite of receiving tips and suggestions from Smith and experienced Pollock, Steyn wasn't successful in his last over. Its quite unfortunate but we can expect these kind of things to happen in a Twenty 20 game. After all, its just the policy of " Hit Out or Get Out! ". :p

India's Final Scorecard.

finalscorecardindiazs2.jpg

Well, with great fighting display from both the teams, the match has ended up in a tie. This means, we had to wait for the "Bowl-Out" to decide the final winner of this game. The rule is, "Five bowlers from either team are allowed to bowl one ball at the wicket with no batsman at the crease. The maximum times the wicket is castled by either team decides the outcome of the Twenty 20 match. If the number of wickets is equal after the first five balls per side, the bowling continues and is decided by sudden death. "

So, still, the outcome of this match is yet to be known. Who is going to win this bowl out? Can Smith get his happiness back by winning this Bowl-out? Can Dhoni's team suprise the hosts still? Stay Tuned to know the final outcome. :)

India : 209/7( 20 Overs, SA :209/9)
Rohit Sharma : 32*(10)
Murali Karthik : 4*(1)

Match To Be Decided by "Bowl-Out " Rule.
