Great Start By Windies!

With the target of 274, Windies openers Gayle and Ramdin came to the crease with huge pressure on them. The new ball was given to McGrath which was shared by Lee in other end. As the Windies innings started, Nothing went right for both the opening bowlers!

Gayle Blasts!

There were high expectations on Gayle to start in an aggressive way and Gayle too started as per the expectations! Chris Gayle started to go over the bowlers wildly and the ball was travelling all around the ground! Gayle was playing those shots very confidently!

This big man of Windies looked very comfortable in playing big shots! He anoyed McGrath in many occassions and McGrath was just able to nodd his head as Gayle was continuously dominating McGrath! Gayle used the pace of lee cleverly and was playing some superb shots on legside & offside!

Ramdin ~ Atlast Providing Solid Support

The things were going right for Windies.... Even the out of form Ramdin, started playing an watchful innings. His intension of not to throw away the wicket was very clear! Ramdin was also got some couple of boundaries but he was more concerned in providing a support to his aggressive partner in other end! Ramdin's patience innings so far have played a crucial role in giving a great support to Gayle resulting in the superb opening start for Winidies!

Gayle ~ A Superb & Well Deserved Half century!

Stuart Clarke was brought in as a change for McGrath but he was smashed all over by Gayle! Watson was brought in Lee's end. Aussie bowlers are just struggling to the pitch the ball to Gayle as he was blindly going over the bowlers!

Well, Gayle brought his wonderful half century and raised his bat proudly to the spectators & dressing room! Everyone applauded Gayle for the amazing entertainment he has provided. Gayle has started taking the game away from Aussies and this patnership between Gayle and Ramdin also crossed hundred at the end of 15 Overs!


In Aussies point of view, This pair has to be broken & bowlers need to get some quick wickets especially Gayle to stay in this match!

In Windies point of view, they got a great start and want to continue the same momentum going!
