WestIndies Vs Australia, Preview​

Welcome to the StarSports Preview show of the mega event thats going to start soon! Its the finals between Australia and WestIndies of the DLF cup in Malaysia!

Well, Unfortunately, India has been knocked out of the tournament! But both the teams, West Indies and Australia , are in their greatest form at the moment! Windies with three consecutive victories and just one loss against India in the last match are having the slight upperhand over Aussies!

But at the same time, Aussies team composition is looking different with the inclusion of Hayden in the opening slot! Aussie bowlers are also in great form!

There is equal chance for both the teams to bag this trophy home! Also the climatic conditions are completely in favourable for the good cricket!

Australian Skipper, Ricky Ponting spoke to the media,

:- This is an important game for us as its a finals! We have been in many ODI finals before and so we know how to win it! Also Windies team have performed well in this tournament and so its not going to be an easy game for us but still we hope that we can carry the same final records as before in this tournament also!

Also Windies Skipper Brian Lara spoke to the media,

:- Its the big game of the tournament ( Finals ) and we have been working hard in nets for past two to three days and also our boys are looking fit to play this mega finals! Aussies have good records in finals , but Aussies are beatable! Lets see what happens! Hope we continue the good form that we have maintained in this tournament!

So both the captains expressing their confidence to win this DLF cup and we have to wait and see what happens at the end!

Also its been found that Windies team were spending lot of time in the practice nets! Lara and the coach were discussing the strategies to be executed! the bowlers having the warm-up exercises and batsmen having running exercises! So lot of hard works are being applied by Windies in this tournament especially and infact thats been one of the reason for Windies success so far in this series!

At the same time, Australian team players were working hard in other side of the ground! The coach and the captain were busy here also! McGrath,Lee,Bracken and Clarke were all having warmup exercises! So equal hard work is also being displayed by Aussie side!


So Two Teams, 22 Players, Two Captains, Two Coaches......... are all ready to battle for the one trophy:- DLF CUP
